I designed the profile shape, then made the dies. I prefer using 1/4” thick material for my dies on pieces like this. It just makes it easier for forming a profile and still have clearance for some tight turning radii. Anyway, load those dies into the universal die holders on the reciprocating machine, and we’re off!!
This is where all the @baileigh_industrial equipment in the shop comes in clutch! These pieces were all shaped out using just 3 Baileigh tools
• MSS-16F Shrinker & Stretcher
• BR-18E-36 Beadroller
• PH19-VS Reciprocating Machine
Now to get these connected up as one. Then shape out and graft in the filler panels, tieing everything into the back of the bed.
This ‘56 F-100 will be unlike any other out there. Stay tuned for more updates.
