I’ve never played DD2, but this vid makes gameplay look smooth & fun! Hope you’ve been well & glad you’ve found some success with BG3 content lately too! I know if I let myself get that game I’d sink WAY too much time into it & I really can’t afford to rn! It just looks that great tho! I did manage to finally upload some DAI content this last week or so in a few vids & even have one more coming out tomorrow with the revive gimmick. Wishing I could’ve included some revived tempest ai or a few other ideas, but it’s the footage I had & figured I may as well share it. I figured I’d let you know in case you feel like visiting my quiet corner of the internet sometime! ☮️

I think you didn't cover divine/perfect defense, what are your thoughts on that one? It can block anything including drake fire as long as you have stamina, but it seems like it's mainly just for not having to time your blocks.
It's very fun and each class can make the gameplay feel different. It's not for everyone but if you like single player action fantasy RPG then give it a shot. The combat is definitely the best thing about it and while the story is pretty weak, it's a Capcom game and story isn't exactly their strong point
Fighter:Riotous Fury, Full Moon Slash, Hindsight Sweep/Vengeful Slash, and a free slot of your choice. Hindsight deals more damage than Vengeful, but requires timing and aiming(trust it’s worth it). Make sure you have a Mage in the group with Celestial Paean, and Ice Afinity. Riotous Fury with ice enchantment will freeze drakes very fast, but uses a lot of stamina so you need to rely on your mage a bit. I also recommend a mage with High Solemnity to shut down the drakes magic, and knock it out of the air when it tries to fly. There you go. This build will never fail you, if you have decent equipment and augments. Combo: Freeze the Drake with Riotous Fury, and attack its weak spot with Full Moon to knock it down-Follow up with another Full Moon/Riotous Fury too deal MASSIVE damage to its weak spot while downed. Let the thief’s rob him while you’re slamming him. If the Drake tries to hit you or fly and slam onto you, simply counter with Hindsight Sweep on the weak spot for pretty much guaranteed knockdown at higher levels. If you really need 3 Thief’s just ditch Riotous Fury and rely on Full Moon, and Hindsight to get the job done. A Mage really helps though 👍

It's alright gets boring fast
