EXCELLENT LAW!!! NURSING HOMES AND ASST LIVING ALWAY ARE SHORT STAFFED. NOT FAIR TO AMERICAS ELDERS!!!
LETS DO BETTER, AMERICA🎉🎉
HUG A NURSE!!!❤❤😊
Many RN's don't work at nursing homes because they are responsible for all the workers under them (CNA's and LPN's). With society going down hill, who wants to be responsible for someone who may abuse a patient????? Could not pay me enough to take on that responsibility. I only want to be responsible for myself and the care I give. Not to mention the case load when everyone calls out. I know nurses who strapped their baby on their backs and passed medications because the nursing home was so short handed that when they called her in desperation, she told them she would have to bring her baby and that was in the 90's. It's even worse now.
Long term care needs to be looked at as important as emergency care.
Great law in theory but not necessarily attainable.
