Shit is all dark, he is cloaked, and ya gotta hear for his footsteps, but by the time you do, he is in your face. Best way to fight him is to just keep moving around and don't stay in one place. The ultimate fight and the hardest was Escharum. I shit you not, I died 30-ish times to this guy. I took me 2 hours to just beat him. Not only is he insanely difficult, but he becomes terrifying when he pulls out the gravity hammer. When he does have the hammer, the shit that makes it hard is that he is FASTER than you and ya gotta be grapple hooking almost all the time, otherwise you are fucked. The greatest and most annoying attack he does is that he lunges himself at you from a great distance and he will ANNIHILATE you if you don't move quickly enough. ONE swing or pound from his hammer and you are DEAD. Even using the booster (the thing that makes you dodge really fast, don't know what its called) won't save you. You won't cover enough distance to get away from his smashing hammer, you'll just die. So best way to kill him is assault rifle, skewer shots, disruptor, as many grenades as you can get, and the shotgun. @@JKgyaru6969 After the events of Halo 4 and 5, humanity had acquired a significant amount of Forerunner tech, splicing it with their own to create what is now known as the Infinity Class of warship, as it was incredibly hard to do on a much smaller scale. There is one Spartan that is confirmed to have a human/Forerunner hybrid suit of Mjölnir armour, the first of it’s kind, and it offers absurd protection compared to even the heaviest of the Mjölnir suits given to the Spartan II's back during the Human/Covenant War. After the events of 5, given the different appearance of Chief's armour compared to It’s appearance in 5, alongside the seemingly much stronger defensive protection, it’s likely another hybrid suit of armour, however not as extensive as the first. Granted this tech is actually rather tame if you look at what Humanity originally possessed if you take a look at Halo lore, as this kind of stuff would be considered low tech to the original human species before the Forerunners went completely insane and slaughtered the Precursors, and then proceeded to war with Humanity, losing and fleeing but letting them die to the Flood before eventually creating and using the Rings to wipe out all life and reseed it across the galaxy. This set humans back millions of years, and only recently are they beginning to reattain their former technological prowess.

The hardest boss on legendary for me was bassus because he constantly runs at you giving you barely any time and also the harbinger was very hard so you need to throw a lot of coils ! The easy ones on legendary in my view are , chak lok was extremely easy seeing as we had the target finder ( mijoinor upgrade ) and tremonius is easy because there's a lot of ammo caches and coils which you can throw as you grapple to retreat . Adjustant resolution isn't too bad because you can crouch behind cover to avoid his attacks but the sentinels are a fuss with their shock rifles .Hyperius and Tovarus are easy and hard at the same time because hyperius camps the high ground with his rockets and tovarus drives around , however there is a warthog equipped with a machine gun and you can destroy tovaruss vehicle . Then the last one is escharum who is hard in my opinion because he does more damage and jumps more , but coils and ammo caches can help you but uh overall that was my experience playing this amazing halo infinite campaign !
23:06 i thought that was the player gasping for his mistake so is escharum dying from ill ess cuz he coughs a few times in this and has trouble breathing he is atriox’s mentor and teacher so he is on the wrong side of brute mortality
Might be just me but the grappling hook almost single handily trivializes a lot of the fights. Jega boss fight being the most notable one as you can evade/kite easily with the hook.

In my opinion the hardest was Escharum’s second phase. I’ll be honest even that on heroic is harder than some (dark souls bosses) not even joking there.
@@NovakLedger fair but that was an easy strat hardest by far for me was the final boss or the cha-lok elite boos only cause my right bumper button is broken so I couldn’t track him lmao

jega rdomnai still lives as his body disappears when he is defeated also he has survived a fatal accident before so it would make sense that he could survive with cyborg implants
Yes he probably had health issues from old age and is understandably reinvigorated when Chief comes back, he can have a glorious death under his hand. Honestly, I love the brute’s drive for glory and battle, when they’re not committing war crimes they’re honorable folks
I appreciate the video, but is this on easy? B/c I've attempted what you just did several times. If I take his bike, he destroys me in it immediately. I hit him with 2 rockets, quickly followed by 4 headshots with the shock rifle and barely scratched his health.
The Escharum boss fight on legendary was one of the most tedious and unenjoyable boss fight experiences in my life. There’s a reason why bungie didn’t put bosses in reach.

But this Monitor didn't fire a continuous beam like Spark did, it was more of a shot. He may just not be as powerful as Spark.
I’m just thinking about how hard these boss fights are gonna be on legendary, oh god
Tremonius: agonizing 3 hit hydra lock. Took 15 tries.
Chak 'Lok: 2 tries, literally just a camo elite
Bassus: Stupid fucking cross arena 1 hit kill jump attack. Took *40* fucking tries.
Adjutant Resolution: 1 try :)
Tovarus and Hyperius: tricky untill you fucking smite him with a max drop wall on a warthog turret.
Adjutant Resolution II: WHERE THE FUCK ARE THESE SENTINELS COMING FROM HOLY FUCKING SHIT
Jega 'Rdomnai: 2 tries, same as Chak 'Lok
Escharum: pretty spongey and easy. Exept the spawnkilling at the start
Harbinger: *I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS! I HATE SKIMERS!*
@@hoogis holy shit lmao but yeah I just finished the bassus fight and for all three probably went the same way for me lmao
@@hoogis fuckin skimmers who tf thought of giving them shock rifles?
@@milky7612 omg I just did that part it was actually hell on legendary
The harbinger fight on legendary is made harder due to skimmers, stalker rifle elites, and that brute chieftain
I'd like to imagine that Bassus is the avenger of Harambe
I hope that red energy sword makes it to multi-player
And Escharrum's hammer
It's gonna cost 20 bucks tho
Forge will probably have everything.
Hyperius and Tovarus are kind of a let down. And that's a shame because one of them is the one who killed Spartan Locke and he got less love than the first boss.
Was it confirmed that Hyperius killed Locke?
@@_boogatti_ No, but one would assume given Locke's helmet is on one of his shoulderpads.
@@papounator8843
Many spartans have the same armor that locke has, unless it is a 100% confirmed and mentioned that locke was killed by that brute it is safe to asume that he isn't
@@juan0597 I remember in the teaser trailer for Halo 5 Guardians in Halo 2 Anniversary with the Arbiter and Locke there were other Spartan IV’s with the same armour as Locke, just different visors. So yeah it could be another Spartan who knows.
@@juan0597 Doubt it since the Hunter armor is a prototype in halo 5
Escharum was resting in the arms of MasterChief and it was emotional
Its awesome that we get to see the primordial in game and we might see more in the next part
QRD?
The Endless are not the Primordials. They could be a descendant; however, for now, they are two different species. Unless, that changes in the near future.
What? I beat the game earlier today and I don't remember seeing the Primordial or even hearing a mention of him.
The boss fights genuinely felt like BOSSES considering my first playthrough was on Heroic. Made it fun, intense and difficult.
5:15 i can self repair can you ??
2 secs later the shield regenerate to full
I was kind of hoping we’d get more bosses like the ones in Halo 2, but I’d never thought it would actually happen.
PS Hyperius’s Chopper should’ve been a vehicle you can get at FOB bases like with the boss weapons. That thing has energy blades when you boost it.
Hopefully we may in the future, along with some other modded banished and unsc vehicles, and more weapons. Along with some more targets to kill.
I love how bassus's armor looks like halo 3 brute cheiftan armor, also bassus? More like basSUS
Anyone thinks Adjutant Resolution sounds like Wheatley from Portal 2?
Kind of. Different voice actor, but I hear a bit of that influence.
You know, maybe thats why I think he's so perfect
A halo game...... with decent bosses?
with decent bassus
They said it could not be done
Halo 2 had good bosses. Simplistic but good.

The way Jega says 'goodbye' right when the child does... god, that is creepy
The Marauder, The Khan Maykr, The Dark Lord.
I put Doom music on during the Jega 'Rdomnai fight. It fits perfectly
For Jega I just stayed in the corners and took him out with assault rifle and bulldog. Pretty easy actually. I played on legendary and beat the campaign. One of the best Halo games besides Reach for me.

*Intense T-bagging*
Chak 'Lok is my favorite one. "Welcome to my Tower".
I died like 37 times to the final boss n the other one w the grav hammer those boys no joke on heroic I can’t imagine legendary 😭😭
15:03 say good pie
so im not the only one who heard that
in the halo lore elites arnt ment to be able to pronounce the letter b , not sure if thats what they were going for here or if it was just a mistake but fun fact

Bassus was such a pain to fight it took me 5 tries because I had barely any grenades are explosives on me
I am 98 per cent sure that the Endless are indeed Precursors, it just makes sense from a lore standpoint.
It really does actually! Precursors were immortal. And there would be no point in creating a completely new species for the games.
@@hypnosissd281 yeah and i am sure 343 learned their lessons after Prometheans
Yeah Prometheams we’re just bad in general. But if we could fight a precursor in a DLC that would be amazing!
@@hypnosissd281 ikr
How does it, the lore concerning the endless doesn’t make them sound like precursors
Also why give them a new name, why not just let them be called the precursors as that’s what the forerunners always called them
Don't forget to do the iconic tbag to assert dominance
DAMNNIT I WANT JEGA TO LIVE HE’S SO BADASS!!!!!!! also escharum death was so sad I feel bad 😔
He might be alive
He dissapears after you kill him. He’s probably still alive.
Chak 'Lok had to have been planning that entrance for at least an hour.
Them Elites sure do love their theatrics
Man that last brute chieftain on legendary was a bit*h, seemed like he had infinite shields 😭
I like the mentioning of The Forerunners Sins. Feels like a reference to The Monument to all of your Sins line from Gravemind. Makes you wonder if The Primordials were The Endless.
The harbinger even makes a direct quote the gravemind did in halo 2. “Now I will talk, and you shall listen.”
Jega ‘Rdomnai’s intro is my most favorite
Escharum is probably the only boss the moment the drums dropped I knew I have to redo the fight but instead I loop the original Halo drums after the cutscene so it feel more significant to me (only boss that has make redo his fight to give it a more nostalgic music)
RE: Thumbnail
Pertaining to the holiday season, does anyone notice that Escharum looks like he's saying, "Ho ho ho?"
So it's safe to say Harbinger was "assuming direct control" 😏
Funny coincidence, the voice of Harbinger in that game (Keith Szarabajka) voices Tovarus here. He also voiced & mocapped the Didact in Halo 4.
23:06 i thought that was the player gasping for his mistake so is escharum dying from ill ess cuz he coughs a few times in this and has trouble breathing he is atriox’s mentor and teacher so he is on the wrong side of brute mortality
hes dying due to old age. He's more than 90 years old

Thanks Dan!
Might be just me but the grappling hook almost single handily trivializes a lot of the fights. Jega boss fight being the most notable one as you can evade/kite easily with the hook.
Ohh the halo 2 version of the main theme definitely brings out the flare of the conclusive part of season 1.
This is definitely not legendary difficulty. I died at least 20 times on Tremonius.
Same but its because I kept getting distracted by the jackals and occasionally hitting myself with a coil lol
It’s not. Has to be easy or normal, can’t play like this on legendary.
Its edited tho but ur probs right
Its interesting how 343, had the Doom inspiration to make halo infinite, minus the open world portion. The open world is great.
Ikr, i really liked the isnpiration.
Any Doom inspiration/homage is good in my eyes, the bosses can be a bit rough on the edges but if they follow the same philosophy they have something very interesting in hands, I love bosses that consist of beefier and stronger versions of regular enemies, I would just love to fight against a super Grunt lol
3:10 damn
evil circ has returned
lol at 18:03.
That crazy brute talks too much and needs a drink of water lolz
He needs his medication he’s old
Hyperius and Tovarus were the hardest for me, the problem with this campign is that enemies fire their weapons from 200m with precise aim.
In my opinion the hardest was Escharum’s second phase. I’ll be honest even that on heroic is harder than some (dark souls bosses) not even joking there.
Take them out on a ghost at distance makes the fight easy
@@reborn6596 I've already completed the main missions
@@NovakLedger fair but that was an easy strat hardest by far for me was the final boss or the cha-lok elite boos only cause my right bumper button is broken so I couldn’t track him lmao
Just walk a little to the left and right and they can't hit you. They're the only bosses that didn't kill me, they're in too open of a space to do any real damage imo
Adjutant resolution rages lol he say STOP DOING THAT you can tell he’s raging lol
4:30 bro really pulled a wheatley on him 💀💀💀
serious question is how does one get there hands on hyperius's chopper cause that thing slaps a ghost any day
I hope Jega is still alive cus he’s just that cool, and I hope Harbinger is still alive because what we got from her is unsatisfying, but if they kept her alive I was willing to withhold that criticism until her story was done.
Jega is the only boss that doesn't have an achievement for his defeat, implying that he may not have been killed like the others.
I haven't got the game and I'm afraid that Adjutant Resolution might become the Warden Eternal. Like the Warden Eternal, he seems to be thrown at the play numerous times so that's why I'm scared.
If that were the case there’s no need to be scared. Considering there are heaps of boss fights besides him.
Sorry to spoil it for you but hes only tossed in their twice, which is nothing compared how warden was.
He is extremely easy to fight on both fights on legendary.
Nah, you only fight him twice and the third time you encounter him he apologizes for antagonizing you since he didn’t saw the bigger picture and helps you to get to the harbinger in the silent auditorium, he won’t be a boss in the future (hopefully)
Halo 2 isn't the only Halo game that does bosses right anymore.
Halo 2 barely did bosses right in the first place

jega rdomnai still lives as his body disappears when he is defeated also he has survived a fatal accident before so it would make sense that he could survive with cyborg implants
Is escharum sick or something. My man looked like he kept coughing in the cutscenes.
Got covid probably
Yes he probably had health issues from old age and is understandably reinvigorated when Chief comes back, he can have a glorious death under his hand.

I had more trouble with the jega fight on legendary

Sounds like u suck lol
Seriously though, Doom bosses are easy compared to this. Here we're in a small area, with an opponent that's faster than us, dodging a gravity hammer that one hit kills, and the dudes a bullet sponge. Even on normal mode this fight is ridiculous.
