    Most people focus on Page and Plant (justifiably so), but Zep also had the best rhythm section in the history of rock. John Paul Jones and John Bonham where incredible together.

    Who were Led Zeppelin? One of the best and biggest influences in rock. They took Blues to the next level but also had folk and funk influences as well.
    You Shook Me
    Kashmir
    Communication Breakdown
    The Battle of Evermore
    All these songs are amazing and totally different.
    I got to see them live back in 1970 when I was 16. Best concert ever!!

    Jimmy said when started a band he did not want the typical band with one superstar in the front He want a band with all members equally as good And i think it turned out pretty good if i must say. Each member feeds of the other on stage. Do The Song Remains the Same And The Rain Song from the MSG 73 concert slash movie they done they were at there peak there to me

    • @jamestoddjackson9655
      @jamestoddjackson9655 3 года назад

      Yes! The Rain Song my favorite all time song. That concert is Legendary!!!! All 4 are at or near the very top of their instrument/role. John Bonham, The drummer, is widely hailed as the GOAT by his peers, the greatest rock drummers. The bassist John Paul Jones plays every instrument known to man, and in their live shows would play a full orchestra using a Mellotron while playing bass with foot pedals. Left hand Woodwinds, right hand strings, feet bass. Singer is Robert Plant, a top frontman. Guitarist is Jimmy Page, one of the greatest guitarist/songwriters: My advice, listen to everything they did. They are the Greatest Band ever. Down the rabbit hole wit ya!!

    #TrueStory 😏 Spent 3 yrs of JHS having to listen to kids singing Zep, Who & Stones songs the day after they played MSG. 🤗 So my 1st babysitting job in HS paid for my nosebleed section seat in 77 & 78. 🤷🏿‍♀️ Mom had no problem paying for Rush, Queen & Bowie tickets. 🙄 Still it was hard watching everyone in class doing the 👉🏻 'Jimmy Page finger point' for weeks. 😁🐰
