There has never been or will be another band on the level of Led Zeppelin. Stairway to Heaven was a song I heard alot in High School years - even in my own headphones with having all the Zeppelin albums. Oh, they were so good. Other bands that have come along and tried to copy them were pale imitations. Because they were one dimensional. Led Zeppelin wrote and did a variety of styles of songs. And their writing was superb. They were also the best musicians of their instrument around. And to show their influence even today - back in 2007 when they did Celebration Day concert a record that still holds today for the most requests for tickets. There were like 20,000 available and the requests went into a million I think. Not sure of that but, it was a huge number
Love your reaction, I had the same reaction 50 years ago when I heard this incredible song for the very first time, this song is a magical and timeless classic.
They were the 4 best musicians at their craft, in the same band. They lived the songs as they played. Never will be another band like them, pure raw talent unleashed on a stage.
The bassist plays the keyboards and known for putting his bass under the keyboard so he can play bass with his feet. His name is John Paul Jones. XOXO Brandi Modrak and Fred.
The only thing to say about Led Zeppelin is....the GOATS!!!!!!! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I think I listen to this song a few times a week. I am 68 years old...and I get moved more and more every time I listen. I was blown away when I was 18 years old when I first heard it. I love to watch realtors such as you, I get to relive that experience as if I was 18 years old all over again. The next one you have to watch live would be In my time of Dying, and Since I’ve been loving you! You have only started you L.Z. Journey! 😊
Only 43 years old myself, but i wish i grew up to be a teenager with this band in it's prime...I have this song on my playlist i use during work ( driving around) and listen to it almost daily. Such an incredible performance, and all without special software to tune the output....As i grew up mostly in the 80's and 90's, i was a big Guns n Roses fan, Scorpions, Metallica, but Led Zeppelin won me over as i grew older and realized their raw talent...Imagine where they'd be if John didn't pass away so young....
Welcome to the rabbit hole of Led Zeppelin.there are no bad Zeppelin songs only timeless masterpieces in the year 2121 people will still be enjoying their music. They were then they are today and they will be forever more the greatest band to ever grace the stage. Suggestions "The song Remains the same/The Rain song and Since I've been loving you" both from 1973 live at Madison square garden

You’re so cute. We’ve listened to this song a million times and still love it. Those 4 musicians were among the best of our day. 3 still live on to make music. Glad there is RUclips so we can share it with your generation. 😁😁
Led Zeppelin is the finest rock band to ever walk this earth. 4 rock gods defining rock music making with their talent. They made it to San Francisco when I was 17 and didn't know anything about them. Did that ever change. This song is about the music industry You can't buy talent. Loads of mediocre musicians and bands have proved this to be true.👍👍👍👍
The performance was in 1973 at Madison square garden and was included in the concert film “The Song Remains the Same” released in 1976. Like many, I believe this guitar solo is the greatest of all time.
Hey I just always love it when new people find led zepp My fav band since I was 11,12 ,I'm now 65,a quick note about this song, the band hired a rundown mansion in england,Jimmy page the guitarist played a rough outline to the orhers,Robert plant the singer according to Jimmy had the lyrics down in minutes, pure genuous,

I love it!!! I love it!!!! "His instrument is speaking in tongues!" I have never heard it expressed this well. You nailed it! That is exactly what happens when Jimmy Page plays that guitar. Watching your reaction was GOLDEN! It so reminded me of mine 50 years ago when I first heard this band. I believe you are now a Led Zeppelin fan for life! Such a wonderful reaction. So great to watch you get swept up and away as the Zeppelin Tsunami washed over and through you!!! Please do more LZ!!! PLEASE!!!!
"Since I've Been Loving You", of course. If you hear a bad LZ song I'd like to know. I've been listening to them for fifty years and haven't found one yet!

Plant was a great frontman. He didnt move much. Always held the mic in his left hand and held his right hand angled to the right. The opposite of Mick Jagger.
The song 'Stairway To Heaven' was written about Somerset Belenoff cousin to Queen Elizabeth. source: Tarot by Janine “Deep Dive Queen’s Cousin Priestess of Dark Arts!“

Jimmy Page hates the shows this was culled from because he was heroin sick and was at his worst.
