Oh my god I can't believe they did a full version of this version of the song. It is EVERY BIT as goofy as I'd could have hoped! It's so cheesy I love it so much. Damn now I need to go back and finish the DLC.
Its so weird, because i rediscovered this game thru three houses. I saw the advertisements and i was like "fire emblem... That sounds vagualy familiar." I only had fleeting memories of this game series. So i took a chance and bought three houses, and my mind was absolutely BLOWN. Ive been playing fire emblem engage for about 24 hours total by now, and i absolutely love it! I think my only negative i would say is i find it much harder to earn money than in three houses, and maybe the story doesnt feel as fluid, but other than that, theyve done an amazing job!
The fell xenolouge doesn't spoil the fact alear is sombron's child and the fact that they'll become emblems, but they added a of hints such as "emblem eternal" or how it litelarly mentions the "Fire Emblem" in the end but ok
Makes sense when you realize it can be played as soon as Chapter 7. It can also be seen with the interactions as there's ONLY a scene of shock with Zelestia.
The story also forshadows a lot of things. Gregory says that Alear is terryfying for some reason which hints the Fell Dragon part of them (Even Gregory admits that in his S support). We can to the Emblems even though they're red. It sort of hinted Alear both using a prayer and invokation to summon. All Royals (well, most) somehow think they're a Corrupted (even though they are a different gender) hinting how Veyle would later corrupt them. Oh, we can't forget how when meeting Fell Xenolouge Alear, has full blue hair like Lumera hinting that they are blood related in that world. P.s I didn't know Nil/Rafal would be the main antagonist. I thought it would be an alt Veyle but nope!

Perhaps, though that depends. In regards to gameplay, this is single handedly the best fire emblem game to date. And, while it’s story is lackluster, it’s following up three houses of all games. It’s not trying to be like three houses, either. Engage is a celebration of fire emblem, as it’s the anniversary game, and in celebrating it they ended up making a tonally different game from three houses. I quite love it regardless
