You guys say literally everything that comes to you mind, it's not from software who brought back the mecha genre nor did they saved any games, you have no culture
LOTS of goodies pulled from other franchise super well thought of to create it. Ill give it a try. MechWarrior/Zoid/transformers damn hits all the marks. I do appreciate how GROUNDED it looks. Gundam/Armored Core in East is very fast paced.
I have been SUPER looking forward to this game finally being revealed! Been playing the Alpha tests on and off for months, and this game is so freakin' lit! I absolutely cannot wait for more people to get hands on and start squadding up with friends and watching tournaments. Certainly one of those games that's simple, but really well done, and a breath of fresh air.
I quite enjoyed Steel Hunters alphas, thank you for letting me play but I'm afraid I won't be playing it anymore, Battle Royales simply aren't my cup of tea. Thanks for the chance to play early
Finally it's back!! 😁 I was getting worried when the steam page up and disappeared. This will be first extraction shooter I might just stick around with. 💯💥Firepower. Look forward to trying out Fenris
Hey sorry can't help but notice - imho some animations don't show the massive scale of the robots nearly enough Like this ult on 0:48 for example left arm which probably would weight many tons is clearly moving above the speed of sound and gained that speed and changes directions in milliseconds While i totally understand that compromises had to be done to meet different goals and gameplay needs, still, i see that in many scenarios there was a lot of room to improve it even without changing an animation's length. This is something i appreciated a lot in games like HAWK and Mech 5, but, well, it's not a dealbreaker so all good EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS REALLY GOOD SO FAR I HOPE THE PERFORMANCE IS GOOD TOO I'M EXCITED!
@@cmdfarsight Ok do i really have to explain why immersion is important. You don't have to make physically accurate animations but i wish they would've at least fixed the most nonsensical ones where even the most ignorant player will notice
@IstyManame Do I really have to explain about escapism or how physics doesn't need to apply in fiction? Do I need to explain the meaning of fiction? Would you watch Back to the Future and complain about their theory on time travel being incorrect, or comment on historical inaccuracies in The Lord of the Rings? It's fiction set in a fictional world, don't get bogged down by facts.
@@cmdfarsight Are u tarded when did i say that it has to be 100% accurate i just don't want it to be so outrageously unrealistic when the bigass robot moves and rotates faster than a tiny human which make zero sense even without getting into science. And yes if The Pacific Rim would be made with this kind of physics it would look like shit and would be very likely rated a lot lower than it is now. Most games still follow basic rules of physics like gravity keeps us on the ground, small bullets go fast big rockets go slower, flyable characters (like iron man in Marvel Rivals) go even slower. Bright things contain a lot of energy and do a lot of damage. Games do this not because they "have to follow" physics they do it because it's what human brain is used to and will have easier time to pick up. You know what happens when you try to introduce the opposite? Unbound happens. The space shooter game where you can go in all directions and it's totally dead rn, even tho the game wasn't bad. It was just hard for a brain to process thus uncomfortable to play. Steel Hunters is the same story on a smaller scale, it's way less noticeable but still not anywhere close to what it should be. It was done great in HAWK, Mechwarrior and TItanfall so idk what's your point it was proved many times by successful titles in the past. Well it barely matters now, i've played the beta it's insanely boring, gameplay is confusing and visuals are low quality and blurry even in 1440p, you can see the tree cards load in at point blank distance, with not-so good optimisation too, so the game is gonna be dead, there are too many way better free games on the market right now. This one fails to deliver gameplay, graphics, performance and even the main selling point cool looking robots can't be appreciated because all the details are blurred out and animations are ba not just from the weight perspective, you can see them fucking stretch where limbs are connecting. Metal. Stretch. All of it makes me think it's just bad management, which kills games more often than less experienced but passionate devs.
Yes, a new mech game for me to experience! By looks of the trailer this gonna be awesome, and with the release of "Mecha Break" coming as well, I'ma be set for the whole year, assuming that this releases in 2025. Keep the mech games coming.
First Mechwarrior 5, then Kriegsfront Tactics, then Mecha Break, and now this. On top of a new Gundam anime announced. It feels great being a mecha fan 😁
I've been waiting so long to be able to stream this game, and I finally can! So happy to have been able to watch this game develop and participate in it.
Perhaps the difference between the old videos and the new ones they'll put out will be too big. What I mean by that is that it won't be an accurate representation of the current state of the game anymore. I noticed in this trailer small differences with some of the appearances of certain hunters and sound of their voice as well. I remember the Trench Walker gameplay reveal livestream being the last video I saw before the old videos went missing. Another difference is the website. It's more secure and looks better.
I tried this game for 10+h for now, I wasnt sure at the start, but adding the progression system rly makes you want to upgrade your big boy to the end , gameplay is decent and actually more tactical than I expected, lacking few more maps but considering its free content just give it a try
Could’ve been cool. Really like the look and non humanoid mechs, but man am I really not interested in another PvP battle arena. Maybe I’m just old. Might try beta this weekend
Thank you destructible terrain! So tired of games with massive weaponry going off and having to deal with invincible light posts and buildings... I remember Iron Soldier on Atari Jaguar back in the day and you could flatten the entire map.
Interesting but I need to know if it has controller support or will be going on the consoles I have quite a few friends and family who are console gamers only
The concept looks promising. However, if I have to give a nitpick, it would probably be this: The mechs here seem to lack (I don't know about others) the proverbial weight or movement of a Mech (at least the humanoid ones), they're moving too fast like a human. If the developers can adjust that, this can be one hell of a multiplayer game (I suppose I got this from playing too much War Robots I guess).
Suprised i had not heard of this. Would have lover to alpha tested it. i did world of warships alpha and beta as well as many others. I heard thry where doing scifi genre next
Overwatch with Mechs!!! This and that Project CW is what WG has been sinking all their dev resources in, while their actual money maker, WOT, gets only monetization and no tank/game balancing, no new maps, no new proper game modes, no real/permanent content to play beside more and more premium tanks in loot boxes.
So basically TitanFall meets Zoids meets Michael Bay Transformers?
SIGN ME UP!!!
Zoids looking Transformers Mechwarrior whaaaaat! Rolllll out!
Exactly what I said as they showed it lol
Edit: + Apex Legends
Was also giving me titanfall vibes 👍🏾
Not enough missile spam to be mechwarrior!
Where are my Titan Pilots?
I was an active alpha tester for this game and I’ll tell you this game is fire man I love it I’m so jacked right now
i was a pre alpha tester it was fun but i didnt play it much

i kept missing cuz i didnt check the app. game is def fun fr
i was in alpha too but sadly it didt have asia server so my experince for this game is not that good
Thank you fromsoftware for bringing back mech games. Armored core saved these franchises.
Armored core 6 plus MSG: Witch from mercury brought mecha back and im all for it
You guys say literally everything that comes to you mind, it's not from software who brought back the mecha genre nor did they saved any games, you have no culture
@Ancientbalijo the mech genre was lying in the gutter. Armored core Kickstarted mech based games again which is good.
What the hell are you talking about mechwarriors been ongoing ever since the 90s
@@zarth4 This game was being developed before and playtested since 2020, way before Armored Core 6. lmao
They had me at GIANT FIGHTING ROBOTS 😀
Everyone in the Stream was like ZOIDS haha
I also for a moment thought about zoids. Give me a shadow Fox, lightning saix, elephander
if a company could make a zoids game like this and make the gameplay around the liger zero season with the tournaments.
Had to google Zoids because I have no idea what that is.
@@Billy-bc8pk Zoids was the shit.
ZOIDS: Zero is da goat, Strike Laser Claw
as an alpha tester since the very first playtest I had a blast with this game honestly can't wait for everyone to get a chance to play
close enough, welcome back Hawken
can confirm this is insanely fun
Surprised to see you play. Love your unique music!

How is nobody talking about that this is a spiritual successor to Mechassault as WarGaming did buy out Day 1 Studios.

I didn't know I needed a game where I could use Liger Zero to kill Optimus Prime with the help of a Mad Dog only to be taken out by an Imperial Titan.

Armored Core, Helldiver, Transformers, and zoids this will be one game
What a pleasant surprise when the world needs it the most it returns. Welcome back 😂😂
I'm glad that they showed this in the game awards.

What happened to the Interview series, the one explaining each mecha? I've been looking forward to rewatching them this evening and can't find them.
Ive Just Recieved the Alpha Playtest for Stream This Coming Week 🎉😂 Looking Forward to This One 🔥
I hope they add other modes like team death match and control point
