Just wanted to post that my kiddos and I made our first catch today. Kids are 6, 4 and 4 years old. They made bait, set traps yesterday and checked traps with me today. Thanks Stu for getting me trapping again.
Great video as always I’m watching from Newfoundland Canada This is my first year trapping and learned a few things from your videos Keep up the good work
Cant wait to see if those last 2 sets produce anything. I have a small creek like that on my property. Im going to try a set like. I haven't been able to get out yet. Your videos will help shorten my learning curve
I've been fighting the rain up here too! Been doing good with the beaver trapping tho! I like your pocket sets! Good luck with everything and Merry Christmas my friend!
How do you go about asking permission? When you knock on the door what are you asking the owner? Also, when you first came out with those anchors I didn’t really see the point “just use a fence staple” but man the more I see them, the more I get it and think I need some😂👍🏻
Anyone sell an educational tri-fold brochure on beaver trapping? Or trapping in general? It would be great to hand out to landowners whom your asking for permission to trap their land. Even if they say no at first, they may read the brochure, think about it or have some problems down the road and give you a call. Of course you would want your name and address on the brochure or have your business card taped to it. Just a thought.

I run a "Tiny" trapline...8 traps...sloppy mess in northern Illinois. One nice fox...and a muddy mess
I have 150 acres in north Texas. I have 8 foot holds and 6 dps.
Still needing rain more than critters.
Enjoying the series very much!
Thanks for another great video.
This is a great series you have going. Been learning a lot. Thing with learning is that you have to get out and do it. Keep it up 👍

Really enjoying this series, and seeing the way you run a smaller line!!
This series has been great! Can't wait for the next, thanks for taking us along.

You think it’s muddy in Illinois well where I live in the New Mexico desert our truck sunk in 4 feet 😂😂😂 great job Stu
Thank You
Great video , can’t wait to see how it works out ! What’s the minimum size cable you would use on a dog proof trap ?
I use 3/32 7x7 cable for everything whether its tying off DP's or coyote sets to a small sapling
I've been fighting the rain up here too! Been doing good with the beaver trapping tho! I like your pocket sets! Good luck with everything and Merry Christmas my friend!
Awesome Video!!
Man I’m glad you have luck with drags. I tried it last year on DP’s and lost 3 in one night.
nice job.

Are you still using the Dan's hip boots?
Do you prefer head or chest shots when dispatching?
whats in your dogproof bait
What bait are you using for your DPs?
The cable on the DP set at the 14:00 minute mark isn't connected to the DP chain
lol Yes it is
Great video as always, what camera are you using?
Raiderrrssss
My trapping vacation is got to start 2-9 north east MO
Is that cat food you're using for bait? Also, what is your dispatch firearm, a pellet gun? What model? Thanks, love your videos!
What are u using for bait
Is your grip strength super strong or do your traps get easier to squeeze over time? Mine are super hard to press if I’m not using the tool
I found that they are easier to set if you put the wire/spring on the heel of your thumbs and grip the barrel with your fingers like he does.
What do you use for bait in your dog proofs?.
What are you using for bait cat food ?
Love your vids. New trapper myself. Is that your full time job. Thats alot of traps and work with job too.
👍🏻😎🇺🇸😊
Any more of those free scammy kayak giveaways?
Stu buddy I just had the craziest thing happen 2 foxs in dps have you ever had this happen
You have probably answered a hundred times but whats your dog proof bait recipe?
Why do you have to be a set distance away from the brush?
Nevermind...
