The winter hasn't been too cold here in Vienna. We had a few cold days, nothing too bad. My friend told me that winters in Korea were really bad and that she wasn't looking forward to spending them there again. She was cold in southern England sometimes, where it barely ever came down to 0° C at night (at least when I visited her there earlier this year). Apparently one of the warmest (or *the* warmest) winter they had since they started recording the temperatures. At the same time her friends and family back in Korea were telling her how cold it was there.
You can use this Google Chrome extension- chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/speakit/pgeolalilifpodheeocdmbhehgnkkbak to hear how to pronounce Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont's name, she who abridged and rewrote the book from the original text. Just change the voice to a French one otherwise it'll sound as bad as how a person who is not French (like me) tries to say it!
