Just found this video. Did my first wristlet with the magnets (inside the plastic) and inside interfacing sewing foam. It was my first time doing it and I 'ran' into the problem of the magnet sticking to my sewing machine. I'll take your suggestion next time and put a piece of paper under my magnet. Lovely video. You're a great instructor. :)
Thank you for the clear, concise video. I used this video to complete another maker’s pattern. But I’m in your camp now! I am a beginner who was afraid I might have to abandon the project. You saved it, and my sanity!

The link selling invisible magnetic snap is out of stock. What do I look for when buying from another source. I noticed there is a difference in magnetic strength. I randomly picked a snap from Amazon and it is not strong enough to be effective. Your video is very good.
Hi, I have some neodymium magnets at home that I want to use for sewing on fabric and I would like to know what the plastic coating is made of that the snaps have for hidden or invisible sewing, so that I can adapt mine to it :)
I know this is not what I need, but maybe you might have the answer. I remember a tailor put some kind of a metal disc on the bottom of my suit blazer in the back to keep it down. Do you know what that is called?
Thanks for the great tutorial. Just want to suggest since you asked on Tuesday's show as to what demo would we prefer to see. Could you please demonstrate to show how to oil the machine. Can we oil it ourselves or needs to be given to the mechanic?

Hey thanks a ton. That was extremely helpful. Just one question... Is sewing the only option for the invisible snap? Can the vinyl be glued to fabric or any other material? Loved this video.👌
I agree with the post prior to mine. I use leather as my main material and know very well that glue alone isnt strong enough to hold the snaps and i use contact cement! Lol

I hand sewed some invisible ones by punching holes around the edge. My bag was already finished and I had ordered a bunch.

Do you need to use a zipper foot? How would you apply these to a baby onesie with legs?

What sizes would you recommend for a mini card wallet purse or with a double card slot .
Thanks for sharing 😊
Can you tell me again about the stabilizer on the magnetic bag? I would rather use that than the canvas plastic. Thank you!
Thanks for the great tutorial.

I wouldn't trust gluing. If I sew it in place I know it won't move!
I agree with the post prior to mine. I use leather as my main material and know very well that glue alone isnt strong enough to hold the snaps and i use contact cement! Lol
Hi where can i buy those invisible magnetic snaps? Thanks
