Thank u for this inspiring information. I just got an offer for masters in public health. My plan is to write AMC1 while studying, is this really feasible or should I just prepare for the AMC exams and forfeit the masters???

I am from Colombia, I have 9 years experience , with 3 years gap, I passed AMC 1, and currently 3 months again working at the ED (outside Australia), and still impossible to get at least an interview.

YES! You have 9 years of experience- so 3 years of gap is nothing. especially you have done 3 months recently. VERY VERY POSSIBLE

No, you need a degree and certify it with EICS before taking the AMC exam

So if you pass part 1, and didn't get part 2 or what yet, need to do 47 weeks of training.
May I know if there is an expiry time to get the part 2/WBA?
Eg part 2 or WBA must be completed within 2yesrd or else you will be kick out of Australia?

Check out our other videos that exaplin the 47 weeks of training. Those weeks are for EVERYONE (whether you have passed AMC 1 or 2 and even the brand-new australian graduates). Ideally you should complete WBA 1 year from when you enrol

@@codeyouaustralia Hi, thanks for the reply. Is there an expiry date for you to get the amc part 2 if you already have part 1?
Eg say you need to get it by 2 years time or you will be kick out of Australia? Is there a limited time frame?

A very inspiring story. It's things like this amazing doctor's journey, that keeps us IMGs hopeful that eventually we can get there too
