    I am thinking Szilagyi is the Tom Morello of jaw harps. Found his channel yesterday I think, wow

      That is where the maker applied some solder to assist in tuning the harp. by adding weight to the trigger it slows down the vibration and lowers the tone. Then by using a file to remove small amounts of the solder, the tone can be raised. All three of my Szilagyi harps have this.

    I am curious about the Black Fire Jaw Harps, you've mentioned them a few times across several of your videos. I know of a very low black looking harp that comes out of the Czech Republic.

    I have a Black Fire in Low A and Low G. The Low A is almost as long as the Low G, but its much easier to play. They both sound great! But yea, the bass harps sound so cool but there is only so much you can really do with it just playing around. Fantastic for slow meditative stuff.
    I'm thinking about getting another, maybe that Mid A you have there, maybe a D too I dunno

      For deep bass harps go either Kniega or Parmupil. They are the best I have played. You can also get
      Low open close melodics out of them as well.

      @@bebbcorpharpery7331 Funny you say that I've actually been drooling over the Estonian harps you have there on The Harpery.
      What do you think of the one in D2?

    • @bebbcorpharpery7331
      @bebbcorpharpery7331  5 лет назад +1

      Very clean melodics. The parmupil in every tuning maintain the ability for open close melodics.

    The Black Fire in Low E and Deepest F are the harps I have been trying to get for a while, but can't find a seller that takes USD. Where did you buy these?

      Beefhammer I bought them at mouthmusic.com. They take usd and have 2 days shipping standard in the U.S.

      I believe so, but not in my collection. I had 75 assorted Szilagyi several years ago that we were dropping as free surprises in people’s orders at theharpery.com. I don’t remember what it was like.

    When you say "mid A", it's A2 ?

    • @bebbcorpharpery7331
      @bebbcorpharpery7331  6 лет назад

      Steph Anie yes this one is A2. Keep in mind that there is some debate over what a number is next to a note when the harp is involved. On my tuner it registers near A2. See below comet on a link to sound samples for numbered notes.
