I am no professional by any means. As a matter of fact, I am an undergraduate working as a freelancer back in the philippines and I can say we were doing good. We were able to acquire properties, buy cars among others but we still chose to come to canada as an international student along with my wife who is a nurse for our kid’s future. I agree with Dr. Arel. Nag iiba ang perspective and priority when it comes to our kid’s future. So far, I have no regrets despite sacrificing a lot to come here and start anew because I can see that my wife and my son is happy. That is all that matters. Sabi ko nga, if they are unhappy, just let me know and we will go back to the philippines. No ifs and buts. Kung saan sila magiging masaya, dun ako. :)
I can understand the situation of this Dentist working as dental assistant in Canada with a wife as student and a child of school age. You are not alone, a !ot of immigrants have experience similar to yours. But God loves you and He will never abandon you! Continue to work hard and pretty soon you 'll have a sudden breakthrough for you and your family. Pray. Pray to God for his grace and blessings and be thankful with what you have now.
Kaya mo yan. Maraming work d2 basta hwag ka lng mapili. Im a truck driver now hauling gravel, sand, dirt, mud etc..i enjoy life on the road..i have side hustle too. I pressure wash our truck..i also clean our company's office...i have 48 mixer trucks, 2 loaders, 4 tractor and trailer..kung wala ako driving naglilinis ako ng truck..kng andito ka lang sana sa vancouver pwede kita isama.
Finally a new episode! Another solid episode Ina! Love this story as we can relate to their struggles and decisions to move to Canada!! I wish Doc Arel and his family the best of luck! Hope we can see you all when we visit Toronto! 😊
Thank you for sharing. I also left my dental practice in the Philippines and have been living in Vancouver with my husband and daughter for 2.5years now. I just wanted to say that they (Doc Arel and his family) have a great future ahead. Kayang kaya nyo yan ❤😊
Wishing you all the best. God will always make a way for you both. Try to connect with our fellow kababayan currently practicing dentistry here in Ontario or other provinces of Canada.
The way you explained your circumstances , you will succeed whatever you and your family is planning. Sacrifices, be resilient, be optimistic , surround yourself with positive people. Pray to God, in everything you do. Love each other, that will make you and wife stronger.
Konting tiis give yourself 5years tiaga at sipag pakumbaba youll get there be always ready to read anything it helps a lot madali pag aralan ang health care at haba ng pasensya
Going back to school yun yung best move. Just like me, i just finish Pracrical Nursing program back in the Phils RN pro mahirap pag sa Canada. Now just waiting for to write the test.
Stressful ! Ako naman Chemical Engineer sa Pilipinas. Pero naging Chemical Engineering Technicians & Technologist ako. Tumaas ang mga bahay diyan sa Ontario kaya we sell it and moved to Alberta mortgage free and retired at 55 years old for my spouse and me at 60 years old.
Wow! What a nice story. Thank u for sharing ur story doc Arel & thank u for being an inspiration and being brave in admitting about ur self pity moments. I hope this vlog will go viral and many will be enligthened, realized nd understand that u need to step backward many times here to be able to move forward. Most especially ang mind set. Subscriber mo na ako doc. Good luck sa inyo and thank u again. 😀🙏
To be able to practice your profession as a dentist in Canada if you're an immigrant you have to take an exam in Canada, it costs costs $ 30, 000.00 and you can only take it the exam once. If you fail there's no second chance.
Dentist din po fiance ko... Independent Immigrant sya... Free tuition fee with allowance from the government.
The new Federal Government program to provide dental care to seniors and others without private dental plans is expected to reach 9 million new patients. I’ve been to 5 dentists in my years in Toronto only 1 got their dental degree in Canada. The rest came from Eastern Europe and also from the Philippines. They went through the process and established themselves.
It’s better to stay in the Phil’s . Life is short . Being happy in your home country . Canada is still good because of less population . Over all if you’re going good in the Phil’s . Phil’s is still better no winter freezing weather for 6 mos . Climate is a factor in mental health
Nice video mam Ina. Lol..Salamat for sharing positive and inspiring stories.
Correct po mahirap kumuha ng Lic. dto sa Canada if you want to continue your career from the Philippines.
U can survive but at the end of the day, mas malaki at consistent ang income ng isang employee.
@@hapinoy6843 it is only housing that is very expensive. Food (groceries) is actually cheaper that in Alberta (my own opinion). I have relatives living there which I always come to visit. I just don't like the environment.
Im just wondering, Doc Arel, why you choose to apply for a student Visa whereas you can apply for an indipendent immigrant visa, parehas po kayong Dentista, ang laki ng chance na makapasok kayo dito as an immigrant. Welcome po sa Canada.
Hello sir! Ito po reply ni Doc Arel: That time we were applying, hindi pasok sa skilled workers yung international work experience. It’s changed now- meron ng Category-based Selection route ang Express Entry which recognizes foreign work experience ---- Salamat po ulit sa panonood!
wow hah..a dental clinic full of patients. you will not come to Çanada kung marami kayo pasyente. di mo pa sabihin na very competitive to own a Dental clinic kaşı many companies from the Phils does not have dental coverage. Buti pa yung Dental Hyginiest ko ..sınabi Nya yung Totoo ..very competitive to own a dental clinic that is why they migrated here in Canada .

You know guys? Before i’ve got my profession it took several years before I got my licence, I’m a Teacher now in canada
May I ask questions po?

Good for him! Good luck po sa inyo. 😊
Better move here in Alberta, after your lisence and schooling of your spouse. Cheaper house and lot. The HST is 5%
