I dont comment much, but wanted to let you know that I think this is your best type of content. Serenly relaxing and perfectly "vintage" - such a comfortable atmosphere. Bravo Trippe, great work.

I lived in Florida for a few years and Publix was the best grocery store they had. Amazing subs you could get there. I now live in Colorado and we have no good grocery stores. I miss the east coast. Especially Publix and Wegmans.
I'm not a fan of my glasses either. I switched to contact lenses. When the day comes I have to go back to glasses I will, but until then I will avoid it as much as possible.
I use calculators to do simple calculations too and I'm going to go to uni to become a theoretical physicist. It's efficient and means less errors. And I'm lazy sometimes. Lol
@CHATTYGRANDPA A theoretical physicist is someone who uses high levels of math to figure out how the universe works. They think about big questions, like how the universe started and what it's made of at the smallest measurable units like smaller than atoms, and they create ideas to explain these things. They don't do experiments but instead work with numbers and equations to understand the laws of nature. Albert Einstein was one. It's the kind of stuff I've been thinking about since I was like 5.
It was hard to compare prices between what you got and what I purchase. I am limited to Walmart, and don't like their meat or produce. So? So, since a few of your items didn't seem to have sizes, I had to just estimate on the packaged items. I would say your total haul would cost me about $12 less here in my South Carolina small town. I'd still get the perishables at Publix ... and I love tabbouli so I might have purchased that also. That's a lot of green onions -- how are you going to use them?
I work outside in the heat, and as such, I drink a lot of gatorade and powerade. Somewhat recently, I've been cutting down my sugar intake. I quickly noticed how much sugar I have been consuming in gatorade/powerade. So I have been switching to and drinking more gatorade and powerade with zero sugar. Just have to be watchful over the "aspertame" in these zero sugar drinks. It adds sweetness to it, but more studies are coming out showing aspertame to be carcenogenic.
Trippe, I bet I could find you a strawberry cologne or maybe a spray since you seem to love that smell so much. 🙂As far as prices go, everything has almost doubled. Four years ago, I was maybe paying $150 - $175 for three people every week, and now it's more like $250 - $275 every week. Also, you mentioned the zero gatorade, me and family drink the white one, and we love it. I'll even squeeze half of a lemon in it for healthier benefits. 😊
@@CHATTYGRANDPA yes. Every time I’m at the grocery store I tell the cashier I need a second job to pay for my groceries. It’s crazy. I remember when I could buy groceries for the week and only paid $60 Also if you like the peach and strawberry scents you can find them at bath and body works

We believe in the health attribute of onions and will use them all over the next 2 - 4 weeks.
same

yes i read that about aspertame 30 yrs ago you just can't win it seems
Just drink water, if you need to, get a flavor additive. A lot of them have electrolytes
Superrrr earlyy❤❤

I line in Pennsylvania with a family of 4 and my grocery bill is always $3-400 I think it’s been about 30% increase over the last year or so
it is ridiculous isn't it?
