There seems to be a theme on all of Adam's videos, criticizing the way he yells when he climbs, and his explosions upon failure. I think the film "La Dura Dura" put it the best, by simply stating that he wants it that bad. He is so young and so motivated to climb the hardest possible problems and routes that it crushes him to fail. He screams when he climbs because it is torture to hold on, and he explodes when he falls because his will or skill could not withstand such an intense challenge.
How the hell can you hate on this guy. His screaming is just a part of who he is. A fenomal climber with a SICK killer instinct. I visited Gioia last week and it blew me away.. I can't blame anyone who screams his lungs out while attempting this
@investor87 in the future he'll set new standards? he's the best climber in the world right now... has 5 9b routes climbed.. most of them first ascents that no one else has yet to complete... has 2 8c+ boulder routes done.... o and he's 19

Some climbers scream, others don't, yet people seem to pick on Ondra. While I agree that the tantrums Ondra throws when he fails are unsportsmanlike, he can make as much noise as he needs when he's trying to hold on.
A screaming beast. Yeah, i mean, he did it, but when you see Core, you understand which is the right interpretation of this boulder. He's a silent dancer on the rock, he moves perfectly without any kind of noise. he's nothing but perfection. Ondra should shut up and learn something....
How are the v4 boulders treating you? Ondra can send a V16 boulder and a 9C sport route. If we're comparing, Core never did anything even close to that hard redpointing (8C was his hardest I believe), so who is right? Who is better? Close your mouth and speak with your climbing, not that idiotic tongue.
And both are in the top of the sport, with Ondra being so far the only person to climb 9C. So...what's your point apart from being obtuse and missing the point entirely? Focusing on the screams instead of the phenomenal climbing? Lame as all hell.

I'm not an Ondra fan. He throws tantrums and fits, both of which give climbers a bad rep. He's the antithesis of Sharma.
