Please increase your vocabulary. We all know Charleston is an exceptional city. Pretty, beautiful, amazing, lovely, delicious, wow… they don’t say much. Be a little more specific…a Thesaurus will help immensely. 🤔
Yes, yes, yes! I have committed to a low-buy year and when I do, i am refusing (when possible) to buy anything new. I turn first to FB marketplace, then thrift stores, etc. Haul videos are a huge turn-off to me.

I visited Charleston years ago- I went home sold everything and moved here. It’s my first love- you’ve found some of the treasures but be sure- they are ENDLESS.
Also Valentina- Dinner spot second night? With scallops? I didn’t catch that he spot name?
I live in Poland and most people want new furniture, new builds, new all the things. It’s often useful to look at what the market over/undervalues - beautiful German/Biedermeyer-style antiques go for very little (even relative to new furniture), while the French and more rococo-ones ones are severely overpriced

Such a fun video! The next time you guys are in Charleston, you should make the 1.5 hour drive south to Beaufort. Stay at the Rhett House Inn for a night. You would LOVE everything about Beaufort. Many of the antebellum homes there were spared during the civil war, and the architecture on the Old Point is just fabulous. We lived there for 8 years and built a house on Lady's Island. Thanks for taking me back to such wonderful memories of the Lowcountry!
I am on a no buy or low buy year. A year of transition and a life declutter year. But travel is not included. Our favourite town is Charleston, we live in South Carolina and we visit several times a year… this is the second video I see from you about Charleston. Thank you so much for sharing.

We have been going to Charleston for 37 years…ever since my in laws built a home on Wadmalaw Island. We love it also. Wadmalaw Island is a beautiful peaceful island.

I absolutely loved this vlog of you and your family time in Charleston! My wife and I have been trying to go to Charleston for two years now but have never pulled the trigger. We go to Savannah every year and fall in love with that city every single time! Charleston looks alike like Savannah! The Bennett Hotel was absolutely beautiful and that one bedroom home was EVERYTHING! I would have cried leaving it! Thank you for sharing!

On our last trip to Charleston, we celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. We love it there! North of Charleston, we like to stay at Mansfield Plantation in Georgetown. South of Charleston, we adore spending a weekend in Beaufort!

We moved from Atlanta just around 2 years ago and absolutely LOVE living in Mt. Pleasant! Atlanta....ugh....it was where I grew up but not the same place anymore! It's the most amazing lifestyle here!!

You have no idea how much this video touched me. I’m feeling lonely these days, nearly mid-winter, slogging through popcorn ceiling and old Lino floor removal. You filmed Hearken, the „ cute,“ old timey shop which has the look and feel I’m trying to recreate for my 1900 kitchen. You understand my geeking out over these kind of historic places, my homesickness for Europe, and my love of pastries and a good cup of something warm! Simple pleasures. I took a screenshot a d thought, „ I’m going to put this on my gallery wall“ because I feel you two are almost real friends.

I am in WI, my son interned at the Aquarium. We loved it there, he lived in building over 250 years old. We definitely want to go back. We stayed at the Meeting Street Inn which is haunted. Learned why the doors are so wide, it was to accommodate the women’s hoop dresses.

I live up the road in Pawleys Island so I get to see Charleston often. It was so fun to see it through your eyes. When it gets warm you should have cocktails on one of the many rooftop bars and check out Magnolia Plantation in springtime when the azaleas are blooming
