Best female character in anime in my opinion. She's very strong, good companionship and she never gives up. I love the quote she says "I'd rather die than betray my friends!" just tells you how much she cares for those around her. If you heard of Mikasa from Attack On Titan, then you'll know she'd rather kill her own comrades for the sake of saving Eren (foster brother). It's hinted by her need to protect him because she loves him more than a brother. She is just cold, heartless and rather leave hundred's to die just so save her 'brother'. Erza would do the opposite of Mikasa.

I was getting hyped for erza because i was planning on getting shyvana from league of legends she has a skin that looks exactly like erza (ironscale shyvana) and it reminded me how cool erza was.
