I am SO glad you guys seem to be enjoying this videos because they are my favourite videos I have made on the channel so far! Keep your theories coming!
These videos are really great... I Subed. Btw maybe you already covered this but the boy from the school who got killed also drew another dog picture in the room with the shopping venture in chapter 4 (top left corner where you can also find the hat) Does this mean he travelled through the whole city into the school ???
My theory is that the Hunter was at the Pale City. His face got distorted like the residents but he managed to leave. Now he wears a bag over his face because of it but he's sane. He found Six after Six left the Pale City and kept her because he was lonely. He's so lonely that he'd make mannequins of people to feel less lonely. Lonliness is a common theme among all the characters. The Lady of the Maw was lonely so she brushes the hair of her dolls and sings, the grandmother is most likely since she spends all her time in the basement. The teacher was lonely and thus spends all her time around fake children, unable to fathom they're fake. The doctor is lonely and does the same thing with his patient mannequins.
It seems very fitting. All throughout the game these ppl just wanted someone to talk to. And like any sensible person you would run away from their boring and lengthy story at once.
@@CrusasTheOrc Same reason six protects her little patch of heaven (her music box) Its all she knows and could hold onto when she turned. (that and her connection to mono but that one wasnt as strong) So for all these monsters they dont care if its real it just has to suit the roles
I think the Hunter is a very lonely individual: the presence of a hearth on the trunk of the tree, coupled with the dead body in the secret room, I think it's safe to assume the Hunter once had a lover who is now dead. If you look at his concept art, it seems like a tear is running on his masks, right below the hole for his eye. This may mean that he is depressed and lonely. So to overcome his loneliness, he stuffs people and put them around his house to make it seem like he isn't alone. As for the wheezing he makes, I think it's just because he tied his mask around his neck with a rope. Another thing I would like to adress concerning the Hunter is the painting in his attic: it depicts a person with a big left eye and a glass right eye. I believe the painting may represent the Hunter.
The fact that i see a theory where they said that the tower was giving the environment that something would cause them like Eating disorder, suicide (like people in the rooftop), depression and the woman hating her self for like being ugly in lil nightmares 1
The Hunter also has a breathing problem for some reason. My guess is if he did shoot himself and the signal brought him back to life, then his airway and nose and mouth are probably pretty messed up
Hmm that can be true but I personally think that the breathing thing is just for interesting sound effects. But considering that every single detail in this game is made for a reason, you might be right
What if The Hunter is normal human trying to protect himself from turned monster ? Like Mono sneaking in school using bully head mask. That's why he is protecting Six, bcs she is normal too. He is only targeting Mono when chasing them, because Mono wearing mask , so He doesn't know Mono turned or not.
the hunter got some family problem tho. in his dinning room you see 3 puppet sitting as they were eating in the room. The hunter probably have is lonely, and he found six. So he taking care six as his own family. By locking her in the room XD. From the tally you see in her room, you can see that Six is there for alot of days. There's even music box that comfort her
I was looking through various concept pieces for in-universe advertisements of Little Nightmares 2. Based off the sketches, it seems like the citizens of the Pale City were originally going to have visible mouths with lips and teeth, though their eyes and noses would still be absent. Actually, you can see what looks like vestigial eyes sockets or as if skins has grown over. It’s quite interesting. These early depictions of the citizens were shown in cigarette, prostatic eyes, and television ads. Based off of what we know from our time in the Hospital, the many citizens seek out the Doctor for what I think is some sort of reconstructive surgery that involves replacing the horrifically eroded flesh of the citizens with custom porcelain face masks, as well as limbs if necessary. Then the televisions are obviously for the expansive influence of the Black Tower’s broadcast. But I’m not sure about the cigarettes, as the citizens only seem concerned about their physical appearance and the availability of television.
Not surgery an escape if you think about it the granny from the first game wanted to escape so she swam in the boots out of fear the mask is to escape their found disorders after the brainwashing and taken souls
Doesn't the woman on the right side of the table in the cabin look a lot like the teacher? (Similar hair and clothes) but her face was covered up because maybe she used to discipline the Hunter and it scarred him so he can't look at her face. I feel like we forget all of these 'bosses' are connected, there's a reason why they're the only intact 'people' you see with control over their surroundings.
The first little nightmares and the second are linked together because in one of the cabins there are masks, which the hunter made, in the first one the some of the monsters wear masks so it makes sense that the hunter made them for them the first and the second are in the same world the second one is based in the twin chefs from the first one wear masks because their skin is bare their skin stings frequently so the twins got their masks from the hunter. All the monsters are linked together if it is from the second or the first they were all normal people before the signal tower took place it turned he TV on and everything the signal tower and the TV are the ones transforming normal people into monsters. Mono and Six both have powers Six has the dark energy which she took from the lady in the first one the lady doesn't attack Six when she eats her because six is the lady in the future. Mono has the soul taking power which he gets from sucking in glitches in from the map Mono is The Thin Man his future self the whole thing is a loop the thin man is trying to save mono by taking Six so he doesn't get betrayed by her the thin man can try to stop mono but his past self is stronger than him.
I'm obsessed with The Hunter and I'm completely open to pretty much any theory about him, he's my absolute favorite LN character. My personal theory is that the taxidermized people in the shack were either The Hunter's family that he stuffed as some sort of mourning ritual, or he's always been alone and these are random victims of his that he stuffed and set up to try to resemble what he imagines a family is like. But I really enjoy the concept that maybe The Hunter that we know was not the original inhabitant of the shack; perhaps that man at the table was the original hunter?
I think when the signal tower was taking over the pale city and the other places, people like the hunter and his family fled the pale city in order to escape the signal tower's grasp, but as tine went on, his family began to succumb to the signal towers control over them, and in doing so, the Hunter grabbed a shotgun and blasted himself in the face, hoping that he would not turn into what his the rest of his family had became, but the signal tower revived him and now the signal tower uses him to carry out his deeds, as if he was a puppet, and that's my take of the hunters story.
3:00 personally, while watching the video what came into my mind is that the Hunter did used to be really good at Taxidermy but then suffered from an arm injury that he used taxidermy to fix. And the reason he did the deer so well and the family so badly is because he did the deer before his injury and the family after.
I really like the Veronica/Hunter theory because I believe that they were a couple. Let me explain: In the swamp area, there's a tree trunk marked with a heart and arrow that you have to push down to the water. It's possible that the symbol is made by the Hunter, meaning that he was in love before. Veronica (the TV lady) was most likely his wife or lover who is a famous chef on television sense she's shown on TV a lot through out the game. It's also likely that she lives with the hunter sense the kitchens from both of the cabin and TV look simular. At some point in the past, the Hunter and Veronica were a happy couple who lived together in the cabin. When the signal tower started controlling the world, Veronica was killed by the transmission. It left the Hunter heartbroken after her death and caused him to end his own life by putting a sack over his head and shot himself with his own rifle. Of course, the signal tower's transmission prevented him from dying and started controlling his mind that made the Hunter into a monster.
No not rly ferryman made veronica famous i think hunter knew ferryman by selling corpses to the moor taking them in as we saw in the first little nightmares comic in the first game six got kidnapped by the ferryman
Doesn’t Little Nightmares take place in a early 20th century Japan? The Maw and Pale city seems very reminiscent of Japan- but some aspect of the city seem old. And there are advertisements in the streets that are in Kanji. And there’s also the Geisha who owns the Maw and the guests who are seen wearing Kabuki masks.
I believe the games take place in the 40s as the decor of the pale city is very 40s style and the art style for the maw is reminiscent of edo japan which ended in the 1890s but had similar decor later on, also tv was invented in the 40s. Coincidence I think not! Edit: Also restaurants and gastronomy became popular in edo japan.
Actually the creators said that the LN universes is not similar to or is the same world as our universe/world is. So am saying that it is not our Earth/World but a whole different world. I think
Did you notice all the dead people in the cabin were under lights? They might be alive but the light makes it so they can’t move. And the bag on the Hunter’s head shields him from the light so he can move
am i the only one that see's the 3 family members symbolized as Speak no evil see no evil Hear no evil. The one on the left doesnt have his lower mouth. the second one has an eye popped out and the third has her whole upper head (around her ears). idk. maybe im stoned
I was thinking of the reason Six left Mono right after he saved her from her corrupted self, and I think it could be because of the fact that it was basically Mono's fault that the Thin Man found them in the first place. Since you mentioned Six USING him in a prior video, I thought that she might have wanted to get rid of him before he made another mess, even though she was actually a bit attached to him, this being the possible reason why she hesitated for so long when she decided to let go of his hand. By taking this decision, she proved that she was more selfish than kind, and this was probably the reason why she gets hungry right as she exits the TV, it's her punishment fo making such a selfish choice and perhaps what sparks her true evil side. It's just a small theory but heck I'm proud that my last neurone pulled that out by itself
I think Six knew what was up with Mono as soon as she had to pull him out of the TV. When the thin man made an appearance she started to connect the dots within their powers and knew what Mono was going to turn into later on. I also think Six dropped Mono for revenge on her music box. Mono broke into that room in the Hunter’s basement, taking her hand and thus having her leave that music box which was her only comfort, only for Mono to destroy it in the end.
@@ellasmochi not rly six if you saw moved away from six after she saw his ability she broke the 4th wall like a tv show and realised that mono has a deeper meaning
Shadow six is the form we know from the 1st game and so i think she is trying to show the new six somethin better so she ate the lady to fix the disorder mono gave her after she took his power
@@moistshore5409 If The Thin Man (Mono) didn’t take Six that one time from under the table, the loop could’ve been broken and she wouldn’t have severe hunger. It all started because of that one scene that turned into more chaos as it went on
Did anyone notice the smashed mirrors in the attic? I believe that mirrors act as a counter active force to the signal as all the main characters wear masks to hide their faces from each other and we defeated the lady with a mirror. Maybe mirrors will act as the force to destroy the signal later down the line?
The one big counter argument i have for that is... reflection. The camera is always from 1 side. While the mirrors face our way. If the mirror would work what would it even reflect? A black wall? A floating camera? Some edgy 4th wall breaking reflection? The mirrors being broken is just a lazy, easy way out for the devs. Tons of games do this.
6:05 that looks like a window with its curtains down to me. The cupboard is in the same exact spot, the refrigerator, and I think the game developers might’ve added the pot, the pie, and the cleaver to show that. Because in your last video you linked the tally marks to six in almost the same exact way. So couldn’t it be for this as well. That’s a lot of subtle details to add to one scene for it not to be linked. Edit: you also see pies practically no where else in the game. Same with the cleaver.
@@awall1439 they most likely were not a centerpiece of the school scene as much as they were in the hunter’s house. Don’t know where because you didn’t specify, but I’m guessing cafeteria Edit: “guessing cafeteria” as in kids maybe threw one or it was on a table
I don't think many people have seen it but there's actually a room in pale city that has a picture of the lady and a porcelain figurine from the first game. There's also a suitcase suggesting that some people from the pale city travelled to the maw. If you wanna see the room just search for the unladylike achievement on youtube.
I actually got that achievement last night! I’m not 100%! Sure it’s her room though, possibly a spouse? I know she’s vain but the chair being pointed at the picture of her? Plus those slippers seem very large for her.
@@Tericho Oh no, I never said it was her room! It looks more like an admirer of her, having the chair face her picture and a bowl of cereals next to it kinda as if they're were eating looking at her picture. I think it's a resident from the pale city who was a fan and was planning to go to the maw (there's a suitcase next to the chair) but got "raptured" like other people did.
@@AngelMorales-fg7cwthat's what I think for sure, the hanging man is the lady's son but he left her to go to the pale city after she trapped her daughter (the granny) in the depths of the maw, it would also explain why the portrait of the boy in her room is covered and taken down and the painting of the lady and her daughter standing beside her that you see in the last guest chase has a nothing on the right side like he was painted out of it
I don't think he's stuffed. I honestly just think that's the Hunters jacket. And if the TV somehow deformed everyone's face, since he doesn't live in the city he can't get a mask from the doctor so he just used a bag.
I agree. His face is probably deformed but still able to see out the one eye. So doesn't need to have two holes since the other half of his face is probably caved in like the other viewers'.
My timeline theory--> very little nightmares --Little nightmares 2-- The little nightmares comics if they are canon-- Lastly Little nightmares original/ 1
It is a sequel, the devs just didn’t clarify which game it was a sequel too. Looking at how things went down. Little Nightmares 2 is a sequel to the mobile game “Very Little Nightmares” and takes place after Six escapes the Nest. “Little Nightmares”, where Six faces off against the lady, is the last game time wise.
5:07 that theory makes even more sense with the little nightmares 2 comic of the kid with the blind over his head. When the TV turns on, he's drawn to it, but only until he lifts his blind is he taken, probably from the tall man. Maybe the same can be said about the ghost kid, but I'm not so sure
Theory: I think that since Mono is basically the past Thin Man he went back in time to stop himself from getting betrayed by Six and stop himself from corrupting the city and the people living there but because of the secret ending the time loops due to Six’s betrayal so it repeats until the timeline Mono defeats himself aka the Thin Man (Also I really love your videos and I can’t wait for more videos!)
What if Thin Man takes Six because she keeps stopping Mono from reaching the door, so to lure him in he takes Six? And in there maybe Six realises who Thin Man is so she no longer trusts Mono because she knows what he'll become.
I really agree with the bag being for protection theory but that maybe he was able to resist it just enough to be as human as he is. He still needs the hole for an eye, perhaps it's the only eye he has left. As we saw with the viewers, the faces can be distorted enough to destroy the eyes and mouth and maybe he is only distorted enough to still have a single eye left and keep himself alive.
I just realised something while watching another LN theory. In LN2 there are clothes lying around everywhere and in Very Little Nightmares, The Pretender's death animation shows Six evaporate with only her clothes falling to the floor. The Pretender must have been in the pale city somehow!
I think Mono uses the bag because he somehow don't want poeple to see his face, maybe he senses a conection between him and the Thin Man and wants to cover it for people not to see it, or the Thin Man himself don't recognise him
Yup, that would also greatly add to the theory of "six betrayed mono at the ledge because thats the the first time she sees him with his bag off, since mono gives a resemblance to the thin man"
The hunter could be ashamed of his disfigurements and he may be a perfectionist which I’m implying he’s One of those people who want everything perfect which would make sense if you were a taxidermist you’d want your taxidermy to look as realistic and perfect as possible right
I personally believe the timeline is: Very little nightmares, little nightmares 2, then little nightmares 1. If I recall correctly the devs said it IS a sequel but I don't remember them saying a sequel to Ln1 and I wouldn't put it past them since they pay close attention to detail.
THEORY: maybe the hanging man you see in the first little nightmares is the thin man. Yes, they’re wearing different clothes but they’re both in a suit. If little nightmares ll was a story before the first little nightmares, maybe the recent thin man knows that the cycle will keep repeating itself so he killed himself so that no other Mono or thin man can be created again. But it didn’t work, and the letter you see near the chair, is a letter to the recent mono. BuT iT’s JuSt A tHeOrY!
But if it is gonna become a cycle, that means the people that died from the Maw (like the lady, the janitor, the hanging man and the guests) would reincarnate, live, or the survivors (children) gonna have the same fate just like Mono. (But its just a theory tho...)
@@migzbaloloy7927 yeah yeah, I get what you mean too, like is the people from before that died is gonna like y'know their corpses decay and gon due time and that what if y'kno the numbers (children: mono, the chubby kid, six etc) are like, raised to go thru the same thing or like that. The time loop *is* a possibility but dang it may be a little twisted from the time loop we think it is
I dont know if you guys noticed but in the Nome's attic near some lighted candles there was a little Lady statue broken in half. With Candles around it.Its a little hard to see it..But it does exist in there.
His right arm is taxidermy, similar to the fourth kid with only the left arm. My theory is that what if the six children, are actually the villains themselves before they were corrupted by the tower? Another theory that supports my statement is that the Doctor might be the Second kid(the boy with the lollipop) because he has a photo in the Hunter(fourth kid)'s house. Maybe he was the Doctor who made the hunter's prosthetic arm and seeing some of the mannequins are too skinny he put cotton to taxedermize himself. While for these two following statements maybe Canon but for the Teacher(Third kid) we see tally marks in the school and a spoon which the Third kid used in the comics to dig out and escape. The Fifth kid wears a blindfold similar to the Janitor. Now here's an interesting part, we saw a photo of two normal kids in the school and during the first 2 chapters we see two dead kids(the girl in the cage and the boy tied up to the King chesspiece) What if they were the original kids modelled to the porcelain ones? What if they tried to escape but the boy was caught and the girl escaped the school but got trapped in the cage in the woods? *NOW THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART* We see that the girl and the boy were trying to escape from the school in a RIGHT TO LEFT matter. That could be a hint that the story should be analyzed backwards. Well it's just a theory but what if~ 1. Mono = Thin Man 2. Second Kid = Doctor 3. Third Kid = Teacher 4. Fourth Kid = Hunter 5. Fifth Kid = Janitor 6. Six = The Lady That's the chronological order of the kids right? Another hint that the story is backwards is that in LN2, Mono(Thin Man) is the LAST VILLAIN we encounter, even though he is the FIRST kid. Now to make things clear if we look at LN2 in a backwards matter we could see that the villains are in chronological order in the same way as the kids = 4, 3, 2, 1 (except the two children 5 & 6 which are in LN1). So that could mean it all started from The Thin Man to Six in LN2 that states that the story is being told in a timeloop and The Villains that we encounter, are The Six Children themselves. its all just a theory but if u read all this ur awesome :D
Thank you for giving your opinion on my theory! if i look back now that theory really was a bit squishy but i was so captivated by this idea that i missed out the obvious. thanks again! EDIT: i have a theory on the timeline too or more like what's happenes in the secret ending 👁️
Not a fan of spooky horror themed games but I love Little Nightmares concept plus all the theories everyone comes up with for the monsters and characters especially the School theory you done recently on the Bullies and this one on the Hunter looking forward to your theory on the Hospital with probably the most terrifying foe yet the Doctor
Something just occurred to me that supports your theory about six having been to the school before. Most of the porcelain kids that kidnap her have broken heads, and they actually work together to ambush her and mono but leave mono behind and string six up. I think they recognized her! They wanted to punish her for smashing their heads something we clearly see she's able and willing to do. It would also explain why they didn't take mono because she was the one who they wanted revenge against
Is it just me,or at 7:20 why does it look like if we were to turn the angel of the camera, that could be the kitchen shes in! Like look, the pot with the fish! The same knife! That could be the same place, and that might be why the janitor looks like he know the voice in that clip too.
Theory: I think the hunter is good. I think he fled the city to run away from the signal tower and maybe his family got hypnotized by the signal tower so the hunter has deep hatred for the signal tower. I think the hunter kills or trap any outsiders because he thinks they are "spys" of the signal tower, he puts traps around his house so that it's harder to go close. The hunter hunts for food, and I think when he was there too long he got bored so he found something to do which was taxidermy. So that's my theory of why I think the hunter is good. Plz don't copy it I spent a lot of time on this, Maybe I'll copy and paste this in other little nightmares 2 theory youtubers so that my theory is spread and only I can do plz don't copy and paste this. Can you make a video showing what happens if you don't shoot the hunter because I just want to see, plz Tericho. Hope you see this comment Tericho. Oh and I put this comment on your "Six was at the School" video but I don't think you saw that comment so I commented again, hope you see it this time.
Could we also have some theories on very little nightmares, on how it might tie in with this game. Such as how the girls coat ends up with six. What was the truth behind the pretender and how it relates to the pale city and the maw
Just a thought but the heart of that tree was a young tree that the family ouns the cabin is the only home they had bit the signal tower corop them now they died.. It was a simble of there family just a thought tho..
Is it bad that I feel bad about the hunter. I think he was just trying to survive. Also I think he tried to build the family by the table. What if the people by the table is his family.
It’s understandable I mean it goes for every enemy in little nightmares They’re all trying to survive I mean you have to realize that these were all normal people ones like resident evil seven with the family they were normal until they got corrupted Like little nightmares
I had thought he had lost his family and found Six and since he probably had a daughter or six is the closest thing he has to a child again...keeps her.
I think the hunter is the ghost sheet child from the comics. This is true because he was attacked by the viewers and probably fled to a relatives place far away, like a cabin in the woods. He was scared of the viewers because they attacked him a an early age. That fear kept with him in his adult life and stayed there, with hunting and farming as a food source. He is the ghost child because he covers his deformed face and is also the painting with the kid with the deformed nose. Tell me any holes in this theroy.
the thing about the time loop that it seems like most people don't realize, is that it is only a time loop for the thin man, no one else. He is the only one as far as we know that can manipulate time, so only he can go back to moments that he wants. After six drops mono, everybody else will move on with their lives except thin man. I do agree with you though that if we get a third game, someone might have to destroy the signal tower or thin man or the weird eyeball monster.
@@jimtim9947 thats a 50/50 yes it is a time loop but if there is a loop there are timelines and also because of this loop we see that six always is with her shadow form in the og game
6:15 You can kinda see the shadow of curtains. Since it's in black and white, it's harder to see(maybe because the curtains and the wall are same color) To me, it kinda looks like a window. Also, I think there's a dirty pond nearby. It was probably clean back then and it might of been filled with fishes.
All possible! I just don’t see the window in the TV, also the cupboard is not there in the kitchen. It’s an extractor. There is also a gap in the cabinets where a pot is sat, there is no gap in the real kitchen.
Honestly you deserve more followers. I found your video in my recommends and I am so glad I did. I am loving all your theories for little nightmares series! I can’t wait to check out your other theories for other series as well!
I believe the Hunters face looks something similar to the teachers. Or if the citizens didn’t have horribly distorted faces, as all three are relatively the same height. Also, how does the single tower corrupt the Hunter? He is far away from the pale city and there aren’t any working televisions within the wilderness.
So my theory on that one is that the signal manages to just about reach there. We see Mono come through a TV at the start of the game, so clearly whatever force gives him his powers works here. I wonder if the TVs from the pale city ended up floating to the island when the city started deteriorating?
@@Tericho Omg. I just remembered that. The world of Little Nightamres seems to be literally torn apart- as seen with the massive caverns within the wilderness and city. Maybe the forest was apart on the mainland at one point in history? Maybe that explains why we seen so many damaged televisions that far out.
@@AlbertusSalvatierra I think the signal tower can reach and distort everything in the world regardless of where TVs are. I think the TVs just hypnotize and suck the souls out of those who watch it. That's why people like the teacher and doctor are clearly distorted and weird, but also aren't obsessed with the TVs because they simply don't watch it
I think the hunter got corrupted by the tower and lost his lover to it (the hearts on the trees) he then hated his aperice and the lost of his lover put a bag over his head and shot himself, but due to the mutation from the tower he survived I think this because in the chase segment he breathes hard and heavy due to the wound. The stuffing in the arm might be his coat but once he survived the gun wound he may have cut his arm of but he wasn’t strong enough or couldn’t do it so half way he regretted his decision so sewed it back up
I have a theory. When you first go into the attic in the hunters cabin, you find a few bags stuffed with some of the crawling patients faces. I think the hunter killed them because he was mad at the doctor. The reason I think that is the hunter couldn’t afford a mask because they were to expensive. That’s also why I believe he wear’s a burlap sack over his head.
When i think about it, everyone on LN2 is lonely ans maybe are searching for a way to not be ? The hunter with the family, the teacher withthe fake students ans even the doctor with the patients. Everyone, even Mono is lonely. I dont know what to di with this information but it can be useful ! (Sorry for my bad english it's not my first language)
WAIT could the veronica kitchen be the maw kitchen at 7:12? Look carefully at the placement of the meat on the left under the cupboard, ITS THE EXACT SAME
Don't know if this gets mentioned or has already been noticed before, but as soon as you enter the attic in the hunters cabin there is a box/bag that has parts of what the manakins are made out of
Note, the Hunter's mask is tied with a rope around the neck, this is what killers have before they get hanged or shot. Thus, his clothing made me thought it was a veteran's uniform, or at least the jacket.
When you mentioned the Hunter being Taxidermy too, it made remember this theory i heard a few years ago The Little Mannequin Nightmares Theory Throughout both games, there's been something not-so human about the enemies we face. There's a theory that, in the first game, all of the bosses except the Masked Lady are puppets. Evidence of this is when in the kitchen, you can see one of the Twin Chefs scratch underneath his skin like he pulled up a mask. It could also be why, in the first game, they fatten up the guests so much. They kill them, were the skin as their own, then feed the next lot of meat to the next guests. I believe that something similar is going on here. For example, when The Teacher is walking around, she walks stiffly, and you can always hear creaking sounds if you listen carefully, or the fact that there were so many mannequins and mannequin parts in the hospital - the surgeon could've been putting them together. It also explains how the expression of each enemy never changes. It's because they're wearing the skin like masks. In the first game, these "puppets" were believed to be controlled by the Masked Lady herself, but as she doesn't appear in the second game, i think someone else might be pulling the strings of the operation (pun intended). You can search up more hints on RUclips
8:37 I don't think that this heart has any deep sense because in the Doors of such outdoor toilets there are usually hearts or any other hole. This "toilets" are only holes in the with a little wooden house and the hole is there to get some fresh air into this house.
The lady in the TV is the old lady when you play as the runaway boy she has 2 sons which are the chefs they cook just like their mother did when she was young so no she is not dead until you kill her in the first game and the hunter had a lover which is why there is a heart on that tree that you have to push over the old lady that is stuffed in the hunters house is his lover he made her right there because he loves her a lot ❤
Maybe somehow all these monsters collaborate to make living things. Like the shotgun dude making taxidermy, the teacher studying anatomy(even putting a heart in the mannequin), the doctor with masks and mannequins and the tall man leaves souls behind so they can make there creations conscious?
Maybe the entire thing, why six was imprisoned was because the tower knew Mono would come here and save her. So the tower made the mask dude capture her so that it could keep six safe from any further damage.
I love your videos and you got a subscriber keep it up man. I put my theory somewhere in the comment of this video. I hope you see it, and can you make a video showing what happens if you don't shoot the hunter.
It's also interesting that in the first Little Nightmares when you get into the room (On the Maw) when you have to move the chair to open a secret door, the clock on the wall is working but it's messed up, going backwards and then forward again as if there was some type of time paradox happening and therefore stuck in those moments.
Maybe, since six is a kid, The Hunter keeps the kids until they grow up to stuff them. All the taxidermy statues are either animals and adults not kids.
“The characters in little nightmares try to commit suicide for some reason” *yeah... I wonder why* “Corrupted world and murdering children intensifies”
In little nightmares II, I think the past story is the same but I think Mono is not the thin man, he was his inner self or someone else who went through the same betrayal as Mono went through from Six, and I think the thin man was trying to save Mono from six as he knew that six would betray him. And about pale city people I think they all disappeared or became monster because of the tv and the thin man, we can say as thin man lived in the signal tower and can be said he was the owner and like I said he went through the same betrayal as Mono he made all the tv work like that and spill out his sadness and angriness and he thought he did wrong side he wanted to get himself killed by the same person who felt that betrayal as he knew it would happen. (Sorry for my bad English)
I just played both of these games (late to the party. Oh well). My assumption was always that The Hunter was one of those weird, doomsday preppers before the Signal Tower came around. Unfortunately, his parents (at the table) and kid who was visiting them (also sitting at the table) were corrupted by the tower. He and his wife were not (wife is in the attic looking out the window, waiting for their son to come home). He made taxidermy of all 4 of them to prevent from going crazy frim being alone after his wife passed. Their bodies hang in the attic by the key.
LN2 has this theme where the antagonists seem to pursue some sort artistic and experimental stuff. - Hunter pursues taxidermy - Teacher does science experiments and has these unexplained live porcelain children - Doctor desires art and perfection through medical experiments I wonder why they’re all doing these things in such cruel ways to (mainly) humans.
the taxidermis are set by a dinner table, there is food on the table that doesnt look that rotten, there is a light conveniantly shining on the people, the atick lady is also in the light, these things are alive. i think but same as the hospital manequins, they can't move in light
About that time-period thing: I'm not exactly sure because I'm not a specialist in the topic but I was watching a video that was pretty much an advertisement for a 1954 thing and the music used in that video I watched reminded me a lot about some of the melodies we can hear in the Pale City while standing outside of rooms with TV & viewers. I do believe the design of the TVs themselves in the game are close to around & pre-90s style.

This makes sense but my two brain cells can not comprehend it lol 😂
eh if they were really lonely why they act so aggressive at the main characters who seem more alive than anything else
@@CrusasTheOrc jealously? not sure.
@@CrusasTheOrc Same reason six protects her little patch of heaven (her music box) Its all she knows and could hold onto when she turned. (that and her connection to mono but that one wasnt as strong) So for all these monsters they dont care if its real it just has to suit the roles
It can also be that he tries to repair the owners from the house and only he survived
Maybe schizophrenia?
like they are trying to honor their death
That’s a really smart theory
At this point I just think everyone was good and happy except these two 'protagonists'
Wow that's mean he's the husband??
I believe the painting may represent the Hunter.
):
Yeah I've seen that painting everywhere, especially in tje school there are several ones all orver
The fact that i see a theory where they said that the tower was giving the environment that something would cause them like
Eating disorder, suicide (like people in the rooftop), depression and the woman hating her self for like being ugly in lil nightmares 1
If you listen closely, he’s actually talking
The Hunter also has a breathing problem for some reason. My guess is if he did shoot himself and the signal brought him back to life, then his airway and nose and mouth are probably pretty messed up
You're a genius
It’s also pretty hard to breathe out of a mask with one hole😅
The doctor also has a breathing problem...perhaps there is something more going on
Hmm that can be true but I personally think that the breathing thing is just for interesting sound effects. But considering that every single detail in this game is made for a reason, you might be right
Hunter: **commit die**
Signal tower: hippity hoppity I bring you back alive
Hunter: *f**k*
What if The Hunter is normal human trying to protect himself from turned monster ?
Like Mono sneaking in school using bully head mask.
That's why he is protecting Six, bcs she is normal too.
He is only targeting Mono when chasing them, because Mono wearing mask , so He doesn't know Mono turned or not.
In the comic,it looks like the hunter try to kill Six.Also probably the Hunter try to turn Six into food but the Hunter just keep Six in his house
Right
the hunter got some family problem tho. in his dinning room you see 3 puppet sitting as they were eating in the room. The hunter probably have is lonely, and he found six. So he taking care six as his own family. By locking her in the room XD. From the tally you see in her room, you can see that Six is there for alot of days. There's even music box that comfort her
@@ampunbangd4855 and how six doesnt look that much malnourished so she mustve been fed well...

@@ukiyoo184 yeah ig there is so much stuff with this franchise and its only been out for 6 days lmao

@@WeeNat313 I know.

Maybe he and his family were running away from a fire or a explosion. Thats the reason why all his face, limbs, and family so that its bye :D
Also I might think that the thinman is Mono's shadow.
Not only did we break into the hunters house when all this is going on then we shot him we are heroes!
Let me explain:
In the swamp area, there's a tree trunk marked with a heart and arrow that you have to push down to the water.

@@Tericho maybe like the lady they find themselves hidious

@@Tericho Oh no, I never said it was her room! I don't think he's stuffed. I honestly just think that's the Hunters jacket. And if the TV somehow deformed everyone's face, since he doesn't live in the city he can't get a mask from the doctor so he just used a bag.
Agreed
I agree. His face is probably deformed but still able to see out the one eye. So doesn't need to have two holes since the other half of his face is probably caved in like the other viewers'.
If the hunter is the Ghost Sheet Boy he could also just be stuffing the sleeve of his jacket to make it look like he has two arms.
My timeline theory--> very little nightmares --Little nightmares 2-- The little nightmares comics if they are canon-- Lastly Little nightmares original/ 1
They are canon
But it's been confirmed by the dev's that it's a sequel
But that's just what people are saying I don't know their source it does seem to be a prequel
@@eliastaylor8746 Remember the time loop theory right?? Bc of this the devs are both right and wrong. It’s both in a never ending cycle
I just found your channel about 5 minutes ago! I love these games so much but your theory videos make me want to explore the games even more.
Thank you! I am obsessed with the game, I was like this after finishing the first one too xD

Thin man is past mono
This time it doesnt repeat because six saw a poster to the maw. Thus, begins Little Nightmares 1, that's my theory
Why did I get likes on this?
What if Thin Man takes Six because she keeps stopping Mono from reaching the door, so to lure him in he takes Six? And in there maybe Six realises who Thin Man is so she no longer trusts Mono because she knows what he'll become.
@@jadoisready thats basically thin man
I really agree with the bag being for protection theory but that maybe he was able to resist it just enough to be as human as he is.
He still needs the hole for an eye, perhaps it's the only eye he has left. As we saw with the viewers, the faces can be distorted enough to destroy the eyes and mouth and maybe he is only distorted enough to still have a single eye left and keep himself alive.
"I know that because I'm British and we know everything about tea that is just a fact. "
LOL, this got me.
The theories make the game even more scarier, darker, creepier and addictive
I just realised something while watching another LN theory. In LN2 there are clothes lying around everywhere and in Very Little Nightmares, The Pretender's death animation shows Six evaporate with only her clothes falling to the floor. The Pretender must have been in the pale city somehow!
I don't think he shot himself, I think he was a shooting-practice target who came to life after the tower activated. Hence the hole.
Very underrated and not mentioned theory
WWWOOOOAAAAHHHH😮😮😮
I think Mono uses the bag because he somehow don't want poeple to see his face, maybe he senses a conection between him and the Thin Man and wants to cover it for people not to see it, or the Thin Man himself don't recognise him
The thin man was mono so he knows its him
@@fuzzare I used to agree with you but some of the unlockable hats show you’re face
Yup, that would also greatly add to the theory of "six betrayed mono at the ledge because thats the the first time she sees him with his bag off, since mono gives a resemblance to the thin man"
@@fuzzare Yeah i found that weird, idk
But it didn’t work, and the letter you see near the chair, is a letter to the recent mono.

little nightmares games are one of the biggest wonders of the world
But if it is gonna become a cycle, that means the people that died from the Maw (like the lady, the janitor, the hanging man and the guests) would reincarnate, live, or the survivors (children) gonna have the same fate just like Mono.
The time loop *is* a possibility but dang it may be a little twisted from the time loop we think it is
3:22 I never noticed the hanging corpses... Especially the lady's one... Ugh my bad eyesight!
1:04 I think we should be asking who the hell killed 2 ducklings?!
Probably just died naturally and was donated. Most taxidermist nowadays don’t kill things themselves, they just receive donations
If I was a hunter I would definitely kill two ducklings
The real question to ask is how do you kill a duckling without destroying the skin
Drown it
You have such a clear passion in these videos and I’m so happy to see it.
Now here's an interesting part, we saw a photo of two normal kids in the school and during the first 2 chapters we see two dead kids(the girl in the cage and the boy tied up to the King chesspiece)
What if they were the original kids modelled to the porcelain ones? What if they tried to escape but the boy was caught and the girl escaped the school but got trapped in the cage in the woods?
*NOW THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART*
We see that the girl and the boy were trying to escape from the school in a RIGHT TO LEFT matter. That could be a hint that the story should be analyzed backwards.
Well it's just a theory but what if~
1. Mono = Thin Man
2. Second Kid = Doctor
3. Third Kid = Teacher
4. Fourth Kid = Hunter
5. Fifth Kid = Janitor
6. Six = The Lady
That's the chronological order of the kids right?

It would also explain why they didn't take mono because she was the one who they wanted revenge against
“I know this because I am British” *english anthem intensifies*
Aren't moose regularly big? Since six and mono is pretty small compared to this thing that could be just a regular moose at 7:33 could be wrong ofc
Could we also have some theories on very little nightmares, on how it might tie in with this game. Such as how the girls coat ends up with six. What was the truth behind the pretender and how it relates to the pale city and the maw

2:43 This Is Just A Theory, Maybe These Are The Hunter Family And He Makes Them, So The Tower Can Brought Them Alive!
Just a thought but the heart of that tree was a young tree that the family ouns the cabin is the only home they had bit the signal tower corop them now they died.. It was a simble of there family just a thought tho..
2:30 aww poor 6 reached out her hand and was ignored D::
Is it bad that I feel bad about the hunter. I think he was just trying to survive. Also I think he tried to build the family by the table. What if the people by the table is his family.
It might be the reason why he keeps six in a room
@@daisyjoy242 true
Maybe he tried to sufficate himself but came back to life by the signal tower
We actually still have a whistling kettle! Can't use it, because it's made to be put over a fireplace, but it makes for good conversation
If there is a time loop, and there will be a little nightmares 3, six will be the one to end it and bring the world back.
the thing about the time loop that it seems like most people don't realize, is that it is only a time loop for the thin man, no one else.
5:13 i thought mono has the bag for his to stop his powers

“That theory”
Me-
What theory?
6:15 You can kinda see the shadow of curtains. Since it's in black and white, it's harder to see(maybe because the curtains and the wall are same color) To me, it kinda looks like a window.
Also, I think there's a dirty pond nearby. It was probably clean back then and it might of been filled with fishes.
All possible! I just don’t see the window in the TV, also the cupboard is not there in the kitchen. It’s an extractor. There is also a gap in the cabinets where a pot is sat, there is no gap in the real kitchen.
can you please do a theory on why the teacher plays the piano?
Theory: she likes to boom your welcome
Maybe she writes the songs that are played in the broadcast
@Esme Nicholson oh soup-

When you realise Mono is the tall man who hung himself on the start in the first game
But how did he get tall? Unless it was confirmed by the devs there would be no way mono could become tall
@@avaa2983 this is a spoiler!!!!!

At the end of the game, Mono turns into the thin man! Meaning he's also extremely tall.
@@daylahmyrick1137 O
it's not him. he's trapped in the tower
Tericho: *talking about the hearts and family references*
Me: Shrek
@@Tericho Also- I just discovered you channel and I absolutely love your little Nightmares content. You got a new subscriber:)

6:10 you can kinda see Curtains covering the window behind the Woman
What if the hunters a good guy what if he locked up six because he knows what she did and what she will do
I have a theory.

"Ngedit Sendiri"
"Saya Butuh Support Dari Kalian"

Yeah
When i think about it, everyone on LN2 is lonely ans maybe are searching for a way to not be ?
The hunter with the family, the teacher withthe fake students ans even the doctor with the patients. Everyone, even Mono is lonely.
I dont know what to di with this information but it can be useful !
(Sorry for my bad english it's not my first language)
WAIT could the veronica kitchen be the maw kitchen at 7:12?
Look carefully at the placement of the meat on the left under the cupboard, ITS THE EXACT SAME
Don't know if this gets mentioned or has already been noticed before, but as soon as you enter the attic in the hunters cabin there is a box/bag that has parts of what the manakins are made out of
I noticed that too! it makes me think he has something to do with the doctor and the patient's.
Note, the Hunter's mask is tied with a rope around the neck, this is what killers have before they get hanged or shot. Thus, his clothing made me thought it was a veteran's uniform, or at least the jacket.
When you mentioned the Hunter being Taxidermy too, it made remember this theory i heard a few years ago
The Little Mannequin Nightmares Theory
Throughout both games, there's been something not-so human about the enemies we face.
Wow this is my first time to get "Hearted" by a youtuber.
8:00 I am British too and that is true
its good to see your channel growing! Really good content!
i hope his channel grows with the popularity of LN2, its really good content
It's also interesting that in the first Little Nightmares when you get into the room (On the Maw) when you have to move the chair to open a secret door, the clock on the wall is working but it's messed up, going backwards and then forward again as if there was some type of time paradox happening and therefore stuck in those moments.
Maybe, since six is a kid, The Hunter keeps the kids until they grow up to stuff them. All the taxidermy statues are either animals and adults not kids.
“The characters in little nightmares try to commit suicide for some reason”
*yeah... I wonder why*
“Corrupted world and murdering children intensifies”
Thank u for working hard at providing this quality content during this pandemic it’s real interesting
The real Little Nightmare is how much I'm obsessing over your videos
*My family owns a ranch, they didn't do taxidermy but they would keep the hollowed out and cleaned out skulls of cows and use them as decor.*
LN2 has this theme where the antagonists seem to pursue some sort artistic and experimental stuff.
- Hunter pursues taxidermy
- Teacher does science experiments and has these unexplained live porcelain children
- Doctor desires art and perfection through medical experiments
I wonder why they’re all doing these things in such cruel ways to (mainly) humans.
the taxidermis are set by a dinner table, there is food on the table that doesnt look that rotten, there is a light conveniantly shining on the people, the atick lady is also in the light, these things are alive. i think but same as the hospital manequins, they can't move in light
