This work is really inspiring to me. I live in what I would call "boring" Ohio but the truth is there are so many beautiful places very near me it is just a matter of going out and finding them as they will not come to you. You inspire me to go out an shoot something not to sit and wait for it to happen.
As a fellow Ohioian, I felt this. We can only do so much depending on where we are.

Can anyone help me? I am wondering how do you get such a deep depth of field with so much in focus at the same time. For example at 2:19 with the horses and the rocks are not very out of focus.

I purchased the lumix s5 recently and while its a better camera overall, the GH5 is a better deal price wise and the GH5 actually has better autofocus. My point is “having the newest camera will not make you a better creator” what a great job on this video the camera is a gem 💎

Great reel and I'm enjoying your LUT pack for the week I've owned. I recently upgraded my GH4 to a GH5. The GH4 was mostly a B cam to my BMPCC4K, but loving the GH5 and using it regularly as an A Cam. I'm shooting BTS on music video in the desert this weekend and trying to figure out some best practices for 60p shooting on stylized (heavy color grading) projects that will live entirely in social. Do you prefer shooting 4k 60p in 8-bit or 1080 60p in 10-bit for something that will never be output in 4k? Also, shooting Cine-D as my V-log snail mail won't get here in time and I can play with a bunch of your Cine-D LUTs.

Lovely video. How does the GH5 cope with showing motion like dancers? I am asking because there seems to be loads of footage rendered in slow-mo, which is nice, but I am having trouble finding footage that shows how the camera performs showing normal speed motion, say running, dancing, traffic, everyday stuff.
There's a lot of factors playing a role in this beautiful reel. You guys can't just go out & buy a gh5 & you'll start producing epic shots like this.
He's probably got a gimbal, nearly every lens known to man, years of experience in pre & post edit, & incredible skill of knowing his frame & subject & an idea of what he's looking for.
I encourage everyone to use their cell phone & a gimbal way before throwing the cash down on something like a gh5.
If a person can get really efficient at creating content with a cell phone camera then they'll be better equipped to justify the money spent on something like a gh5

How does one keep your subject in focus at moments like 1:12? Do you use autofocus there? or do you just have a large depth of focus?

Manual focus or AFC?
Awesome stuff! What are your thoughts on the auto focus options, and can you advise how much of this footage was manual focus, if at all? I am planning to use one more for moving targets, rather than close ups/vlogging etc.
