I absolutely LOVE my kinetic. This is the most eloquent review I've seen of it yet. You're dead on with the "if i was blindfolded i would think this is just a carbon fiber thermo". I think that's dead on.
Great addition to the other reviews on this paddle . I'm really liking mine. I did notice the face really picks up ball debris quickly. The manufacturer said it was ok to use an eraser on it, but I'm leary on how it will degrade the face. I am considering weighting the handle end in the way Gamma is doing.
definitely a stiffer paddle than a lot of gen 2 carbon fiber thermoformed, like you said. it was a bit too much power for my liking, having only really used a 6.0 DBD 16mm this past year, but for someone who wants a powerful paddle, felt pretty great on drives and put aways
Would say that this review is pretty accurate, having hit with the Kinetic a few times myself. Also, what level do you guys play at? my guess is at least 4.0, but the camera angle is tough, and the bloopers have thrown me off now too lol
my kinetic hits much harder then the hurache. Mine also sounds slightly different. I think the face is much stiffer. not as much dwell time on the face. We play a similar modified tennis pickleball. just my 2 cents thanks for the reviews.

Did you put any lead tape on this paddle?
I personally didn't since the paddle felt stable to me already and had a solid sweet spot
