- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character "Bleeding Edge Iron Man." From Tony Stark creating this Armor Model 37 as the next step in evolution of the Extremis enhancement, this armor integrating with and being stored within the bones of his body, deriving all of it's power from repulsor technology of Tony's new R.T. Node, the suit's nano-machines boosting Stark's mental abilities to superhuman levels, the technology being able to form into any structure that Stark can imagine, briefly being boosted with enchanted Uru metal by the Asgardian Odin to become the Iron Destroyer, to the government mistakenly ordering Reed Richards to remove the armor from Tony Stark's body; Let's take a look at this advanced variant of a classic Marvel superhero, and possibly the coolest / most powerful iteration of the Iron Man armor. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

This armor was so unbelievably powerful that the writers had to separate it from Tony permanently, so that he could become an interesting and challenged character again lol

@@Power3DHD what do you mean? The armor was removed from him after the Siege of Asgard storyline took place. Around 2011.
After that, stark was separated from the armor, hunted down by the dark avengers and resorted to older, less capable armors stashed around the world to defend himself.
It "was" the most powerful armor,until the Model Prime appeared and it was game over for the Bleeding Edge. As much as i love the BE the Model 51 is a beast. I'm more of a Extremis Armor kinda guy.
@@ironlordshellhead3415 model prime is just a repackaged version of bleeding edge, but uglier, more angular and with more uncanny capabilities (the increasing size one is particularly ludicrous for me...).
My favorites are bleeding edge, extremis, the one from the Marvel NOW era (black and gold) and the "modern" one (the one from the dragon seed saga).
I also like the one from the Avengers Assemble cartoon. A mix of angular and round, more recognisable and a good overall blend of classic and modern (like the first extremist arc armor but with circular reactor) .

Stark is like a mad scientist on par with Doctor Doom he keeps trying to push his mind and body to the edge

Seems to me that if the Bleeding edge Armour became that intertwined with Tony Starks bio-systems, that even if he's now dead this Armour possesses enough data input on him at a molecular level to reverse engineer and recreate the man. A marvelous concept, the Scientist who created the Armour is now reborn from his magnificent creation. Symbiosis at it's very best. 🙌

Actually the best suit ever made is the Model Prime Armor or Model 51. As much as i hate the Bendis run,his armor had the same "abilities" and it was as versatyl as the Bleeding Edge armor,the only difference is that it didn't rely his power source and functionality on the R.T. node. It could still work even if his R.T. node got a major hit from an attack,on the other hand the Bleeding Edge will just malfunction if the R.T. node got hit pretty bad. Also, camouflage and Hulkbuster modes were an awesome addition to the armor.

The best Iron Man armor is from a What If comic. It's the Celestial armor. Designed to take on the Infinity Gauntlet.
The bleeding edge armor is amazing
Once dragonball super ends in march hopefully back stories and the full list of all the new characters from all the universes will come along with their powers and then you could do videos like these on them,obviously they would be short videos but unless toriyama actually goes out his way to create detailed stories for them then you could do longer videos but that's unlikely lol just a suggestion if you're even into dragonball

Compared to the more advanced endo-sym(Mark 50) the BE armor sure has more feats shown

We got this in a form of nanotechnology instead of being stored in the bones, but it has his swords, guns, and everything else.
It's much more versatile tho

Utility was one of the only workaround with Tony's suits. This one completely takes that out of the situation which easily makes it one of if not the best.

The Infinity War suit will be the version of this. In the trailer you can see Tony summoning the armor, although it's based on the Black Panther tech. (Most likely)

The bleeding edge armor did not make him smart. The story behind it is that his extremis armor got destroyed during the secret invasion. So after that, he needed to create a new one. But since his laboratory and everything he owns is no longer his (confiscated by norman osborn), he needed a place to create the armor. So he asked reed richards if he can create it in the F4 tower. Tony explained that the extremis armor was powered by arc reactor in his chest and now that the armor is no longer a part of his body, the arc reactor somehow diverted its power to his mind, making him smarter. He created the bleeding edge armor as an improvement over the extremis armor. Both of which resides inside his body.
Is bleeding edge armor better than the symbiote armor he created, the superior iron man?
Would the symbiote armor be stronger ?
I don't know if it's just me, but I wish the armor design looks different then it looking similar to the mark 3 from the mcu.
