2002 Yellow Taxi. I purchased one in 2011 that only had 2500 miles on it. Loved that thing. Felt like it was carved out of a solid block of aluminum.

Got to fix those blinker pods though. There is a good tutorial on converting that wonky basket system to magnets. Highly recommended. Still.... great bike. I put over 160k miles on one and will do another 160 more.

I ride the same bike and the same colors and a tank bag and when I grab my helmet dog looks at me and we going for a very nice cruise and he never went over 80 and he likes the curves, rum rum and he has four thousand miles on the tank bag.

Fantastic bike. Mine is a 2005, red grey. Only 10K kilometers. Have swapped the suspension for hyperpros (Dutch brand - I’m from the Netherlands). Really an improvement. Clears high speed wobble some k1200rs have.
