Yes to all!! But #6 soooo true!!! I used to think I was all over the place because I have so many hobbies once my soap making hobby became my business! I realize now these hobbies/side hustles gives my brain a creative shift so I can stay passionate and refreshed in making product 😊

When you talked about the dollar cards my mout literally dropped! 😮😅 I was like Sarahhhh nooooo 😂 But I've been there too. Its funny how someone could have the talent but not charge its worth simply because we're new to business or sales. I'm so glad that you set your prices to industry standard and stuck with it. Thats been a mistake I've made, back and forth, back and forth. Thanks for these lessons!

Hi Sarah. I'm starting a handmade greeting card business. I am struggling to figure out what unit of measure should I use for tracking my cardstock for tax purposes. If I use "by sheet" then how do I account for the different sizes that I use for the A2 cards? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hey Angela! Ooh. I am not an expert in this. That sounds very detailed and hard to track. I would standardize as much as I can (so pick as few sizes as possible) and count it by sheet. I’m not sure how that translates to your actual product though, I’m sorry. Could you just say 1 card = 1 or 2 raw cardstock sheet?

Hey Sarah! Love your articulate and crisp videos. I am building a procurement solution aimed at small businesses and wanted to speak to you to understand your biggest pain points as an SMB owner. I was wondering if you could share your email and we can take it forward from there? :)
