I have the Pong countercade and love it (portable Tempest!) It is also the perfect form factor to throw in my large backpack for when I want to take it on the road. I may also pony up for the Pac-Man/Galaga head-to-head countercade for the same reason.
Got the pong version on discount pre-christmas (think $150?) and we love it. Great form factor, great controls, games list, etc. One MAJOR issue I have with these, screen size. Think it is barely 8", not much bigger than a switch. The screen with huge bezel is way, way too small. If they were able to up that to 10" would make a world of difference and make this a must own.
I would like to see Arcade1up make new cabinets with different games. How many different ways does someone need to play Pac-Man? Now, lapcades? These are novelties, I want more adult sized arcades. That is Arcade1up’s majority demographic. Cater to the adults buying your products.
Minor OCD quibble but couldn't Arcade1up source coloured heads or caps for their screws? The graphics designers do such a good job but during manufacturing they derail all of that effort but putting everything together with shiny metal screws that scream "Dad DIY."

IF they would just focus on what we want we would already have our XL’s and Pros!!! 😡😡 They announced Pro Yet..?? Still no release? They announced XL and paid a Pro to help promote the XL.. YET… again??! Where are they??? Arcade1up is really frustrating me.. 😡😡
Yeah, but as usual we're getting the usual suspects games list that we've seen 100 times before from Arcade 1Up. There's probably 50 different ways you can play these 6 games. I've asked this a dozen times before and I'll ask it again, where is Jr. Pac Man?
GAME LIST...does not contain GALAGA 88...so somewhere there is a typo as the Description does include Galaga 88. Let the drama begin.

I like this a lot especially for around $150. I’m a fan of the Pong version 👍

Fresh titles are most definitely needed
To expensive, screen is to small, and more than likely the same controls and buttons = HARD PASS.

and the screw holes aren't entirely uniform in size either so buying caps yourself isn't even straightforward

You can play 2 players at the same time ?
no most games on it multiplayer is u take turns so the screen just flips to the 2nd player side when it there turn
