Must say this monitor is quite appealing. Price to brightness/features ratio is amazing. How was the color accuracy on F700? and does it support 10bit signal? I would be very interested to see the comparison between many different monitors you have 😊 Especially interested about the color accuracy, build quality and possible bugs/funtional problems but also perks against other similarly priced monitors 😃 But I will watch the video no matter the content and the level of deep diving 👍 Ps. I really like your content and your calming voice. Thanks for all the videos you have made and upcoming ones as well 😊
It honestly has become one of my favorite monitors. Colour accuracy looks pretty good to me, but I have no way of measuring it. It does support a 10 bit signal. Whether it’s an actual true 10bit monitor, I doubt it. There are very few that are true 10bit on the market anyway. A comparison video will come for sure! Perhaps I can manage to figure out a way to accurately compare colour accuracy for the comparison. I’ll do my best ;) Thanks so much for watching!
Love the video. Thanks. I’m new to film. Is there a way for me to control my r5 settings on the monitor while shooting? Or do I have to unplug to playback or adjust settings?
That's a really good competitive price for this monitor. I am definitely interested, especially as the viewing LUT does not mess up the Waveform when recording. The Ninja V and its ability to mess up exposure with a Viewing LUT really upsets me and has rouined a lot of good filming opportunities for me.
Hi Matias. It’s hard to recommend one particular monitor, because it depends on what you want or expect to get out of it. It’s mostly personal preference and also budget. However, I can highly recommend the Neewer F700 if you’re looking for a 7” inch one. The Shimbol Memory 1 is a good 5” monitor and if you’d also like to record externally (including RAW) there’s either one of the Atomos recorders (like the Ninja, Ninja V) or the Black Magic Video Assist 12G (5” or 7”). I personally own the Ninja V and the BM Video Assist 5” and love them both. I’ve got videos on all of the aforementioned monitors on my channel. In the end, any camera monitor will work with your G9II, so try to determine what features you need before purchasing. Thanks so much for watching!
@@RedFrameTech Hi Sebastian, thank you so much for your detailed recommendation. I want to record externally on a Samsung T7 because sometimes I want to shoot with my iPhone 16 Pro and sometimes with my new G9 II. So I want to check out the Neewer or the Shimbol. Best, Mathias
Super interesting looking monitor. Thinking about going 7 inch because the 5 inch monitors can still feel just a bit small to tell if I'm hitting critical focus on manual lenses at shallow depth of field. What anamorphic desqueeze options does it have? That's the one thing I can't seem to find any info about online. Specifically hoping it has a 1.5x desqueeze. Wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker since I shoot mostly spherical, but do have fun with my Blazar Remus anamorphics sometimes.
Battery life is very, very good. However, I can’t perform a test that represents the actual performance as my npf batteries don’t have their full capacity anymore. But on 2 npf 750s it lasts over half a day at least
NEEWER really does it cool but EL Zone is the most important thing in a monitor, even more important than brightness. Well, in general, 7 inches is too much, the display is too big. And the main thing is that the screen is matte and not glossy. I know the only matte monitor and that's only because it has a VA matrix, that's why it is necessary to calibrate it, it's osee t5+
I agree with you on most things. However, I really like the bigger screen. Sure, a matte screen would be preferable, but I think for the price point of the F700 it's a fair compromise
Just bought one and it’s awesome. Great value and colour match is surprisingly good!
Thanks for the review 😊! Helped me make my decision.
That’s awesome to hear!
Thank you for this - I'm interested in the monitor comparison video you mentioned at the end.
Nice review mate! Well done. :)
Thanks man!
Yes, it would be nice to see your comparison video of the monitors, please. Thanks for this one!
Coming soon 😉

There are a few monitors that allow camera control. PortKeys have one. But make sure you check compatibility with your camera

Hi Sebastian, very interesting review. Which monitor do you recommend in connection with my G9 ii?

It’s currently my most used monitor. It’s great. It’s got 1.25,1.33,1.5,1.79 and 2.0x anamorphic desqueeze
@@RedFrameTech awesome thank you so much! Definitely going to pull the trigger on it then.
I think I like it.
🙂
Is it reflective my friend? Thanks
The screen isn’t completely matt, but it’s not too reflective
The vol and brightness adjustment is cool aswell as powe usbc! I would love to have a monitor w airglu record control. Atomos😂Great video🫶🔥🫡.Thank You
I haven’t heard anyone mention specific battery times. How much time do typically get out of them?

@ hell yeah, thanks for replying! Mine should arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to your monitor comparison video!
Does it have a grid setting?
Yes it does
Asking the real quesitons! Is NEEWER always BETTER?
Haha! Definitely not, but this monitor is honestly pretty nice
