This channel has become my favorite pokemon pvp channel during this one year I have been playing. I've tried many of the setups I've seen here, some work for me while others not so much. But I guess that is to be expected for a barely ace ranked player like myself. Everything is informative and easy to follow and most importantly for a non native english speaking person, I don't need subtitles since every word is crisp and clear. Hats off to you Sir. I have no idea why I still haven't subbed but now that's out of the way too. Cheers.
I’ve had quite a lot of fun running it with Cresselia in lead and pairing it with Registeel at the back. This thing is literally ridiculous, I mean the fact that this thing can actually take down Tapu Fini, a water/FAIRY type in the 2s is insane. Glad to finally see Greninja get its chance to shine.
I've been having lots of fun in the UL using Virizion wireless on the lead, Giratina (A), and then Greninja in the back. I've found that utilizing Virizion on the lead has been very useful to check other fighters, counter users, and other Greninjas right out of the gate.
Based on all the hype, I built my current UL Team (Dragalge, Ferrothorn, Tapu Fini) to serve as hard and soft counters to Greninja, specifically as well as give wide-ranging type coverage. Been doing awesome versus Greninja teams (which have been all over the place) and fair versus everything else. I honestly think the Greninja teams are starting to trail off as people realize that others are selecting to counter Greninja specifically. I have been seeing it less and less.
I think this team can hardly deal with poison type of Pokemon, so I prefer to change Clefable into Registeel. That is Cresslia as a lead, Registeel as a save swap, and let Greninja end the game.What about your thought?
What poison type is so deadly that requires you to get rid of clefable? All the poison darks take huge chunks from Moonblast, and clefable with energy and meteor mash do an okay job too. I will say my friend who made it to legend this season runs cress with future sight and Moonblast and no grass knot for Charizard and poison types like g weezing.

Cresselia on lead with a Cobalion safe swap and Greninja to sweep. Pretty solid team. Only got 100 elo before I hit veteran for the first time 🤞

Best counter is toxicroak. Does well most team just watch out for double flyers

I am using a gliscor with sand tomb, Greninja and golbat I know ice types are head ache but my ninja handles them all

I’m using 2 teams:
S. machamp, muk kanto and shadow Registeel (low cp but w/e)
S. grand bull, S machamp and S registeel
I played greninja, shadow a. slash and Lanturn. And went 8-0 and losing the last games of the set to power up punch medicham and scrafty leads.
Would an Azumaril not be better than clefable? Just to counter their greninjas
Try using Nightslash first. It attack gets boosted then greninja will be Op.
