- Today I used Golurk for the first time in the Ultra League and my goodness it was AMAZING! With the updates to Mud Slap and Shadow Punch, Golurk is a TRUE threat to the Ultra League Meta in Pokemon GO! I built a strong Ulta League Team around Golurk that allowed me to only lose 1 battle today and even beat every grass team in Go battle league!

Generally nature’s madness is better. Cheaper to get to and water gun is not the quickest in generating energy.
When shields are in play, nature’s madness definite preferred. As a closer (and no shields in play) moonblast could have some play

@z1na401 also nature's madness i believe gets guaranteed defense drop which makes it better in my opinion

My shiny Golurk from NYC go fest last year just got built!
I've been having a ton of success with Tentacruel (PJ/S/SW), Guzzlord (DT/DC/BS), Pangoro (KC/NS/CC)
Overload strats work sometimes. Just because a team is triple weak doesn’t automatically mean one Pokémon can handle all 3
Golurk is really OP😮 I choose Tentacruel instead Tapu-fini and always had 4-1 or 5-0 in Ace League 🎉

I watch these and think...ah crap, i have those pokemon but they wont be ready until after the meta changes. 😂
7-10 free turns my opponents get every game thanks to lag👍

Scizor can also learn trailblaze now. One of my ultra league favs. I pair it with gliscor a lot.
YESSSSSS! I’ve been running Golurk - Feraligator core with Lickylicky as a SS for a week and it almost feels like bullying 😅
Sceptile and Grass Knot Cresselia could be very threatening to this team since Sceptile spams leaf blade super quick and Cresselia is so tanky and can act as second grass attacker and also can moonblast ghost types for high damage.
No one is running Sceptile! And if they are then it’s a terrible choice as we all know that Virizion & Venusaur are the top Grass types…
@@MasterBamarah top grass types usually, yes. I find with this current meta going around. Sceptile with Leaf Blade and earthquake has pretty strong counter capabilities that people aren’t expecting Sometimes having the top grass types is advantageous and other times it’s catching your opponent off guard when they might not be sure of your energy generation and move sets that is the advantage.
Ive been running golurk on every set BUT ive been running it with earth power. The fairies are not ready

im done with hold out hope Pokémon go battles would start trending in the better direction with lag and moves release and match algorithms but they just keep making it worse

bro why do you keep throwing charge moves after 2 or 4 vs 3 turn users, you let them sneak fast moves like crazy. In 2 vs 3 turn move situation a rule of thumb is to always throw after ONE. No matter if you are using 2 or 3 turn, throwing after one guarantees the best move timing.
