- This is an unboxing an install of the LASIEYO 45L Motorcycle Top Case on a 2014 Yamaha Super Ténéré.
It was a super cheap solution to adding an adventure style aluminum top box to my bike.

Had a dealer said to me oh those amazon Chinese made accessories are garbage they’ll crack if you crash lol I said to him well if I crash hard enough to knock the box off the bike the box will be least of my worries, then he tried to sell me a box for $1100 plus tax lol.
Was looking for a review about this case. It was the first to pop up on my search and on the bike I have which is awesome. Thank you for doing the install as well. Look forward to seeing the after summer update.
I've been using it a lot... I did have one issue with a latching coming apart... but that will be in the update.

Very nice, everything from china is NOT junk, everything is made in china anyway, I’ve purchased a lot of stuff from china that was good quality, I don’t care where it’s made as long as it’s good and the price is right
I appreciate the video I just ordered mine off the Amazon I paid 239 on special from 2 59 99 and it does come with a backrest same one you got but they just stuck the back piece back on now
I just bought the 55L version for $130 on Amazon. I'm surprised at the good quality for this kind of price. It looks very nice on my '13 V-Strom 650.
Dude, what the hell! I’m a mechanic and I build houses from the ground up! This damn thing the screws that have it attached to the plate just keep spinning and spinning. There’s no way to get the nuts off! What the hell?
just found one like this for $70 on ebay and I am happy with it.
Same as mine. Labelled as Duhan. It Serves its purpose.

To help with your key issue, perhaps put a little bit of WD-40 spray.

Yes, it’s brand new. Time will tell how it lasts. I will need to do a follow up video after the summer.

@@lukegenesis no, just been using it... its pretty decent.. It still smells funny inside it... If I were you I might look for something better. The locks and latches are pretty janky. It's defiantly cheaply built.

I don't have a link for it... it's sold under a different name on Amazon now. It's an alright box, it does the trick.

Found mine new on EBay for $128
it's been a decent box for me... the bottom latch failed on me, the rivet broke that holds the lock together. It was an easy fix.

Do your side cases open from the top? And if so, if I order the 55lt top case do you think it will interfere with opening the side cases? Thank you!!
Mine open from the top, not sure if you’ll have clearance issues.

The only problem is the bottom locking mechanism (latch) doesn’t clear the bottom when sitting flat.
It clears fine on my 650 V-Strom.

I fits good, closes tight, doesn't rattle, its a pretty decent box really. I need to do a follow-up video soon.

I bought one from Motea for £174. Absolute bargain until UPS demanded £45 import duties. Thanks very much Brexiters and welcome to the new normal of not knowing whether you'll get charged fees to bring things in from Europe. The irony is, these are made in China and if imported directly then there's no duty. Go figure.
a couple of things, yeah u can buy it with a backrest, just follow ur own link, second thing, really dont go buy cheap boxes from china then complain the hardware and the cheap locks, what did you expect

The hardware is suspect but Shad, Givi and others are 2-3 X more!
