Surprised to see Sowmya struggling with shruthi & breath control (this is quite in contrast to Hindustani singers) right through the rendition. Seems to recover slightly during the Charanam but it lacked the robust vigour & profound devotion. No kalpana swaram exchanges after the Neraval & it was a big let down. Overall, well below par & much disappointed!
Shreya Devnath on the violin was much more accomplished than the main artist in her subdued essay & the delightful phrases stroked!
