Candy Girl is not scary but she is annoying. At any point she could have been flat out killed. The willful disregard of your own safety just makes you look stupid - not scary.
For all the costumes, for all the lights on the car, for all the music, and for all those fancy looking guns, at the end of the day, she was all talk, no action.
Good for me cuz when I watched the movie it made perfect sense that they’re were 2 types of ppl in the purge those who defend and protect the innocent and those who want vengeance and carnage or to PURGE themselves. The first purge movie explains it all. So when they arrive they just tell them to go because they just want to RIDE IT OUT, but the candy girls are too hell bent on revenge and pettiness they kept coming back with more and more ppl. Remember THE SENATOR is there to be protected if everyone starts shooting at each other the senator won’t make it out to Election Day. They don’t want blood on their hands, they don’t more ppl to show up, they just want to be left alone and the candy girls reinforcements are creating a hole in the fence that guards the protagonists king chess piece which is the senator
Candy girl was lucky she died that night, if she would’ve survived after killing her own parents, she would’ve been homeless without keeping up with all of the bills

Any time I watch these Purge films, I'm always reminded of that line from The Town where Affeck's character is threatened by hoodlums and he says something along the lines of "With all due respect, do you think you guys are the only ones in this town with guns?"
Yeah he is a good actor, that Affleck. The Town is a great movie. And I loved that one too where he has the promiscuous French wife and murders men who indulge.
Honestly the streets seemed pretty quiet compared to other purges. Most of the people out there were all together, not fighting each other. Maybe people in that neighborhood can't afford all the toys

Especially if her Kalashnikov is 24k gold plated with diamonds. Simple upgrades to do too. The muzzle device is a 14x1 LH type. Very common.

There's some weird inconsistencies though with the ending of this scene: - The "candy girl" gets run over by the van soo hard she loses her boots (but is (seemingly) perfectly fine before getting shotgunned) - Girl only shotguns the 3 in front, but wasn't there also goons in the back also trying to cut their way into the store?
9:28 There's an inconsistency with this footage- you see candy girl's boots fly off when she gets run over and when they pan back to her on the ground she's completely fine and her boots are still on. They are knee-high lace-ups so those things take way to long to put on and take off.
