Never was a fan of Cecily Brown. To me all her stuff looks overworked and pretentious which might be ok but her palette is a huge turnoff and weird but not weird in a good way. Some really great Picasso shows in NYC to celebrate 50 years of his passing. Highly recommend the sketchbook show at Pace on 25 St Really lovely announcement cards with linen backing. Also Echo of Picasso at Almine Rech on the UES and their gorgeous new space in Tribeca.

I don’t like how trapped within the edges the paintings feel - so conscious of the edge . Overall they look ok though .
