You also can take the CAT train from Wien Mitte. It has no stops but costs 19 euros for adults and its free for children(0-14)

Anyone who pays this voluntarily is supporting high prices. The train takes 5 minutes longer and you'll probably survive a few stops

You actually don't need to buy a ticket if you have the Jahreskarte

True, but if your Jahreskarte is only for Wien Zone, you will be required to get a ticket from Vienna border to airport as we know the airport is in Schwechat, outside of Veinna
