I’m currently doing the Lyft rental. At first I chose the $200 personal miles a week but I kept going over. It was $391 and they charge $26 for every 25 miles you go over. I now have the 325 personal miles a week and the cost is $491. I covered this cost over the weekend and once I covered it I only got $33. The fares be low $3.37 is the lowest fares I’ve gotten. I do this after work and on weekends. I did this so that I can have a vehicle to get to and from work and run errands cause I don’t have a car. I like that you don’t have to pay money up front cause your earnings goes toward the cost of the rental. The only bad thing is that the fares be low and it may seem like a long time to cover the cost of the rental. Like you’ll literally be driving all day. Oh and you have to give 20 rides per week to keep using the vehicle.

I just paid my $250 deposit today. Going to pick mines up on Monday
@@noonty4996- Yes. I just mine 250 deposit. Going to pick mines up on Monday.
So why even offer a car plan or any car services if they’re going to wind up taking all the money and you’re not gonna be able to do anything so why either drive?
Great video fam
They don’t pay for tires😢
!!!! I also paid $47 damage waiver weekly. You have to pay out of pocket for tire repair and if tire is not repairable you have to buy new tire out of your pocket. Also Hyundai Kona electric cars don’t have spare tire and roadside assistance will not come to help you if you don’t have spare tire. By the way what a piece of junk that car is it’s a disgrace to humanity.
What?!
Flexdrive only said to me that i have to deal with tire wear and tair. Idk if its the same everywhere. I live in los Angeles. Also my rental costs 300 a week !
350 a week here in Newark nj taxes included with that before is 260 a week
What if you rent a car at the end of the week like Thursday? How does the pay schedule work?
They prorate.
Work for free if you use maybe 1-2 days for you rest week is highway robbery
You have to waste time at the repair facility not being paid and you have to buy own gas which adds $100 to your rental cost....400 a week is a ripoff
You buy fuel anyway no matter what you drive.
Boston ma. Rental cost $317.00 per week after taxes etc... As of. May 2023
Same in Philly
yiu still renting in mass bro?
Nice but that can’t include the extra insurance per week etc. right
@@deevee8595 it does with 90 personal miles
Lyft flex car rental program is the worst crap. DO DO IT!!! You make no money, you will work for them while you slave driving. Praying no accidents, you don't get hurt. They said i went over my personal miles and they changed me $179 for the week, mind you i was at 15 personal miles out if 25 so explained to me how i went over and this was day 1 and I been driving for few weeks now. Hidden fees of commerical insurance, something called card rate? If you can get a car for few hundred dollars a month and do it on the side maybe. But as far as doing make money long term hell no. They charging me $266 with 25 personal miles a week that they lie stating i went over. Plus the hidden fees
75 percent off top
The cars are electric vehicles.
Don't rent from them cuz they are third party for hertz n hertz are TERRIBLE!!! if u have any friends or family members that let u drive pay them $100 so u can use their car. Don't rent from them u would not see your money cuz hertz would take it now u outside even longer to make the money back
How much is the initial upfront deposit? I want to start driving i just got approved to drive in Atlanta. I keep getting mixed answers.
I did too for Chicago did u find out
If you have a credit card it's only 200 but if you use a debit card it's 500
@@shemekafavors3581 that's wild
Atlanta 250-350 depends on the car your choose electric to full size
I did mid size vehicle and my security deposit was $250. I pick up my car tomorrow. I pray there isn’t any hidden fees that I have to pay when I pick up the rental
Great info tho ‼️
Damn near gotta have a 2nd 9-5 job and do lyft on the side to keep the payments up
Na, not hardly my guy. If you're driving for Lyft full time, you'll no doubt make what you need that week, and then some. You have to treat Lyft like a 9-5 if you're renting without a full time job, or if you're working a 9-5, driving for Lyft and its rental program is definitely earning you money
@@Zer0Moodreally
Shidd $1,000 a month. Hell that’s almost as much as driving your own car making payments once you’re including insurance. Most car payments are 500-700 a month plus insurance which can run 250 and up. Plus maintenance. I look at like it’s a win and win. You just gotta know how to hustle and move. A friend of mines has been doing this for 6 years. And he’s making 1,200 in one weekend. So it’s very possible you just gotta be on your grind
@@BeatsByCeddamn really
A lady told me two days ago, in Dallas tx, Sunday brunch time (9am-1pm) she can make a killing
Honestly this program is terrible it’s way too much money! U have to do 20 rides a week to keep the Lyft rental! Rental rage from 388 a week to 488 a week!! I’m n California!!
Thank you
How do I apply?
I’m away from my car and need to apply
Download Lyft and you should be able to follow the steps go into account > and scroll till you see rent a car
Can you create a sole proprietorship or LLC and deduct the cost of the rental and gas?
Yes you can with or without! LLC is more better cause you creating business revenue which can yield to lines of credit etc
Thank u
Skip the first 60 seconds

I cannot find a rental
Somebody need to tell us how much do u actually pay upfront then
You pay nothing upfront. Sounds great eh? It is! If you plan on stealing the car. Because that's the only way you will make a profit without fronting your own money for gas until you pay off the rental fee. It's a total trap and scam. They will stick you with a balance of thousands of you keep trying too.....there's no way to win. It's a rigged game. Try it. You'll see.
$250 deposit that's it I just got mine this week
Yea this comment and answer should be pinned. This all we be wanting to know
@@stunnaloxc u pay 250 I'm in one now the 250 is all u ever have to pay as long u make enough doing lyft to cover the rental for the week if u don't they'll charge yo card the difference and u keep doing that every week until u turn the car back in or the hertz worker told me sometimes they can sell the car you're in and put u in a new one
Can you pick the car?
