  • Logomo Hall in Turku, Finland, possesses the unique ability to transform the size and shape of its performance space to accommodate its events. Within a few hours, a compact 1,100-seat space with a nearly square audience area can be transformed into an elongated rectangle accommodating 3,500.
With the push of a button, Logomo Hall's permanently installed Meyer Sound Constellation acoustic system instantly optimizes acoustical response for both the current room configuration and the event at hand, whether a concert, conference, play, or opera.
In this video, Logomo Hall's Events and Venue Director Janne Auvinen discusses the acoustical challenges of creating a multi-purpose performance venue, while Constellation Project Director John Pellowe demonstrates the Logomo Hall's Constellation system.
"Constellation is a crucial part of our public profile as a diverse arts and entertainment venue. We can stage operas, concerts, theatre, conferences, and even films without having to accept compromises in acoustics. That's what makes the venue truly different."
    Janne Auvinen
Events and Venue Director, Logomo Hall
