Once you connect it, do you still have to use tv remote to activate Alexa or can you use use any other Alexa enabled device to control the tv such as an echo dot?
This is so annoying since they added this I can no longer ask my Alexa dot to change volume. Turn off and on the tv. Change channel ect. I have no seen for Alexa on the tv I already have a dot next to it
i have the same TV i just bought it yesterday but it did not come with the remote control you have, it’s a different one and doesn’t have an alexa button at the bottom right…what do i do?
Same for mine. I contacted customer service and apparently their TVs come with the standard remote so to be able to use this feature, you actually have to shill out extra $$ and buy their magic remote. Such a racket.

The only problem is you cant turn the tv on with alexa. TV needs to be turned on to use alexa
