- The one person that wasn’t ready to play The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was Link. And would you blame him? The hero of Hyrule spent ages saving everyone from Ganon in Breath of the Wild, only to wake up in a mysterious cave at the beginning of Zelda TOTK. Although… the sight of Rauru does cushion the blow for our flirtatious favourite.
While the ghostly goat is easy on the eye, Link still ain’t happy all his hard work was basically for nothing. I mean, here he is, after losing all his powers and on the Tears of the Kingdom tutorial island. Sure, the view from Great Sky Island is breathtaking, but looking out at picturesque vistas isn’t exactly top of Link’s to-do list. Creating life out of odds and ends using the new Ultrahand, however, is exactly the kind of thing this guy loves to do. Swings and roundabouts for ol’ Linky!

It already happened. There was an animation up from before Tears even released called 'Ganondorf Rehydrates' or something and literally everyone was falling for him. XD
I feel so sorry for Rauru he can't even kill himself to avoid Links B.S and now he knows what he is going to do with his sick doll but at least he will get splinters for using it.

Rauru: “I’ll give you cool powers.”

I loved Link's energy in this animation! He was very expressive and it was a nice breath of fresh air in contrast to his usual stoic attitude!

Gawd leave Rauru alone Link! The guy saw his wife die and couldn't do anything for crying out loud. Link really effed things up with Zelda. 😂
Rauru was gonna fight ganondorf there and then but zelda stops him, but probably could have beaten him 1v1 at that stage. Zelda could have stopped him easily by herself, but she was so shocked by Sonia's death that Ganondorf was able to transform in the meantime while she grieved. So they fled the scene instead to the Forgotten Temple. But then by the time Ganondorf was reapproaching the castle after he swarmed over over Gerudo region he became too strong so Rauru had to sacrifice himself to kill them both. But only so long as Rauru's seal was in place. That's why a new Hyrule Castle was centered atop the imprisoning Chamber. However, the damage caused during the last Calamity severely weakened the seal which is how Ganondorf could leak gloom and be free from Rauru's eternal seal.

Thing is, much like the Lamb before him, Link isn't being a total dipshit. He's just the player, who doesn't want a blatant rehash of his past adventure, especially after being in suspended animation for a second time in a row. I can blame him for some of the stuff he does, including focusing on his dick and nothing else, but at the same time, I wouldn't be able to help it within a game. And who knows? If this ever happened to me, in real life, I feel I could end up exactly like him.
