I am an Aircraft Electrical systems technician. When I was in the air force, I mated and de-mated many Generators and CSD's. The Generator was oil cooled instead of air cooled. When mated to the CSD, they were called IDG's.

Idg it self was being cooled by oil/air and oil cooler.
