It's very important to respect the rules of the land when you travel around the world. And always look how you can give more than you take from the place where you are "nomading" 🙏🏽
This video is really inspiring. I've been thinking about becoming a digital nomad for a while now, but it's great to hear real stories from people like Kristin and Paul.
The tips on finding community while traveling are really valuable. I think having a support system is essential for a successful digital nomad lifestyle.
Oh my gosh! What a video this is!! It is probably one of the most inspiring videos I have ever seen about being a digital nomad, and how possible it is to become one. I am currently working on an online business to help give me the financial freedom to travel, and I am aiming for the minimum of $10k a month. I’m 28 now, and I want to do travelling the world before I turn 30 so I kind of have a countdown mindset which I’m trying to battle and retain the energy to see the people there, and live a fulfilling life travelling. The future is bright, and I just want it to stay this way! Thank you :)
Thank you Charlie, very informative. You are very good in this. I am a 62 year old man from the Netherlands and I want to be a Digital Nomad as well. This was the first Digital Nomad youtube video I watched. I am not sure yet what I am going to do for a (Nomad) living. After watching this video I am thinking of 'online coaching' and, because my hobby is filming and video editing, something like content creator. I want to travel by car throughout Europe. God Bless you Charlie.
Me and my GF have been nomads for nearly 10 years now running our own little freelance businesses. She's a Fantasy cartographer (possibly the coolest job title ever) and i work as a session musician, singer, music producer ect. Neither of us have any formal qualifications in these things but if you learn to do something (well) and tell enough people you're doing that thing - you can do it.
I am a remote worker, I visited this video just thinking that the nomad community might have some tips for me, and they did. Great video, my type of remote work would not allow me to easily travel over seas, at least not for a prolonged length of time. Still, thanks for the video.
Thank you, Charlie, this video helps me a lot! I live in Turkey. I quit my job in architecture 2 years ago because that lifestyle was killing me from the inside. I started to think about what I wanted, I tried many jobs but I couldn't find the right one for me. I was really afraid to go back to 9/5 again until this month. I went to Thailand and Indonesia for a vacation and when I came back to my country I realized what I actually wanted from life and which lifestyle made me happy. I started to research nomad life, and your video was the first video I've ever watched :)) I am going to research more and make some plans to become a digital nomad. I don't know yet how to make money online but I'm trying to find how to make money from my talents and interests :)

Hey Charlie; this was a good one. Perhaps you could interview a few more digital nomads on a little more advanced subject matter than this one. A couple of different nomads for different perspectives.
For someone who had never done the digital nomad thing, this video was very informative. Great job! We watch Kristin’s videos all the time. My husband and I have our sights set on Thailand and Spain. Lord willing, we’ll be leaving after Thanksgiving 2025.

Loved it! Very inspiring and straight to the point questions. Just found your channel this morning at my very boring work 😂 already watched lots of videos. Thank you!!!❤❤❤
I love this video. I miss 3 parts: 1) are nomads paying taxes? If yes, where & how? 2) how do nomads register in their hosting country? 3) what about medical insurance? It becomes more important as soon as you’re aging
I can only gave an answer to no 1 and 3 if you're the type of nomad that lives outside of your native land, it's should've been sent back to your homeland via online form. But the catch is.. not all country have this modern Perks, so do your own research! Insurance! ah also the same thing! do your own research the one that can be used internationally and obviously focus on their coverage of the place that you decided to say in
Another video going deeper into the logistics part specifically would be good. For example, can one easily acquire their daily medications in the foreign country? Do people get in trouble at work when their company's IT department sees they are connecting from a foreign IP (which is usually a huge security red flag🚩), etc.?
Things that would have been interesting to hear would be families. I'm assuming these people interviewed (I'm guessing, I don't know) don't have kids, so how do they deal with schooling. Especially for private versus public schools since many countries have rules about being able to attend public schools as a non citizen.
I own multiple properties in bohol island the majority of my rentals are for expats. I’m thinking about stating a digital nomads headquarters like workday offices here in the US I’m not sure if it’s a good idea.
