Thanks. I see lot of players doesn't know or misuse Ronin's Sword Core as they thought it only increases his melee damage but in fact it increase all of his abilities and movement.
Scorch works pretty well. If a Ronin tries to get in close, use your Thermal Shield (the only kit of his really worth taking is Inferno Shield, buffing its damage and duration) to burn him down - you'll be safe from his Leadwall then and you might take some sword hits, but you'll kill him long before he kills you. For Tone, Scorch can, with good aim, launch Thermite Traps behind her Particle Wall. If she's set up near a wall or some such surface, you can bounce a Trap off the wall so that it lands behind the shield. Wherever you aimed the trap, fire his Thermite Launcher as well, because the thermite will bounce off and ignite the Trap. His Thermal Shield also helps against Tone's Tracker Rockets. Most Tones will just fire them whenever they have 3 locks, so it's not too hard to get used to counting each 40mm impact and putting up your shield after the third.
Use Ion. Don't go laser happy, and make sure you block Ronin's shotgun and Tone's rockets with your vortex shield. I would also HIGHLY recommend the extra dash kit. Once you learn how to use Ion against them, they don't really have an answer... ...except for salvo core and nuke eject :-(
I know this is an old video and Titanfall 2 is well beyond future updates but I feel like if a Ronin fazes into a pilot, the pilot should die, if the faze shift pilot fazes into another pilot though I’m fine with the faze dying

He phased into an enemy pilot and since phasing into something instakills ronin he was instakilled.
normally I would get a kill when I (ronin) phase in the pilot position not in a opposite way, unless I phase into another titan, its kinda weird
