Huikea sarja jälleen kerran. Toteutus, kuvaus, haastattelut, kertoja, fiilis kaikki ihan TV tasoa. Vois hyvin olla Ylellä tms... esitettävänä. Toista kautta odotellessa 😂
Awesome. I'm pretty sure you are the first one outside finland who has watched it from start to finish. We truly hope that you have big buntch of crazy english speaking friends who could like this movie. 😁
@@SiloneulaFishingProductions Certainly not a waste, I'm very grateful you did! Honestly, I would probably have watched the series anyways, and tried translating species names from Finnish instead of English. I found out that many of your names are similar to the Swedish names. Like siiki (sik), piikki (spigg), ruutana (ruda) and suutari (sutare). Who would've guessed! :)
This was an amazing watch! I have a couple of questions. What about the other salmonids? You had a whitefish (siika?) and rainbow trout right? What out salmon, greyling, charr and brown trout? As for other fish, do you ever catch eel ? Or flatfish? Gadus species? Angler? I have so many questions, many of which are probably stupid because I'm not much of an angler myself. :) Anyways, loved the series, greetings from Stockholm, Sweden!
Thanks. Really nice to hear you enjoyd watching this. That year we cought only rainbow trout. We tried to catch whitefish but didnt succeed. Water temperatures are bit too high that time of year. Usually only 1 or 2 teams per year are lucky enough to catch whitefish. Other salmonides - tough job, atleast in competition. Sea trout is possible but way too hard and it takes too much time i think, salmon is impossible - i think you need to have a trolling boat for that, graylings in helsinki (river vantaa) is really rare and they are not big enough for competition fish. Eel is actually one of fish that nobody has caught during kalamaraton, but i think its only matter of time someone will. They are living both in river vantaa and shorelines in helsinkin. If you give a week i think many of the competitors will find it. Kalamaraton is also competition against time. So you need to think wich species are worth trying. Enjoy the fall and coming winter Teemu / Siloneula
