Aaron, I remember you as an enthusiastic flagger at the karting track in Pevely, MO when my son was racing there in the 2003-05 timeframe. It is awesome to see you achieve your dream.
Definitely, don't change a thing! Stay the way you are. Thanks once again for sharing your story. I'm an admitting bi-polar diagnosed, since 1997, at the age of 41, yet at the age of 53, Asperger's was mentioned as a possibility to my issues. Thanks for the time we had in Detroit! 👍
Hi Andrew, what amazing story! Love how you wave the flags…would love more detail on the technique because to us fans, it’s so fluid and so fast. Also, do you still display twin green flags to indicate the halfway point of the Indy 500? I know that used to be a thing in the past. Thanks, Paul
So awesome to see him here. This guy is a beast behind the wheel - had a pretty decent regional karting career in spite of his disability, I think at one point was a driving instructor for one of the major racing schools in America, and was smart enough to move to the officiating side for the job security. He used to obliterate me all the time on iRacing back when we were in our early 20's. Wouldn't doubt he'll be doing this for the next 30 years.
Wow, great story! Was diagnosed with Augsburgers back in 2001. My dad found a article on the computer and thought the symptoms matched with what I was going through, sadly it was the last gift my father could give as he unexpectedly passed right before I was tested but it got us answers. And amazing how false the information was out there at that time. Ask me folks like you and myself are some of the strongest people out there we just keep fighting and never give up.
Who else found this after that amazing checkered flag wave at St Pete for the 2024 season opener? Aaron is awesome. Thanks for this.
Yo! That was a cool move, Josef had to have loved that... Here's to some great racing in '24!!!
Proud of Aaron and honored to call him a friend. If ever there was a man who overcame and conquered, you just saw him.
Fantastic video! I've always noticed his style when he waves the flags! He is awesome!

Awesome biography piece! Thank you for sharing this story.
Wonderful piece! Yeah, Aaron, you're on the same level as Vidan, and deservedly so. Love watching you work!
He is and also Duane Sweeney!
Dude is a diva at heart, I love it.
Thank you Dave, one of the nicest & best in the Indycar paddock
Fantastic!!
Always good to hear fellow Aspies finding success in the world!
This was very heartwarming to watch, thank you for that.
This is really cool, it seems kind of silly but having someone doing what Aaron is doing up there adds to the whole show!
Good job man believe in yourself
