Yes, I often wonder if he got enough rest and self care to recover from such a hectic, stressful and demanding schedule - and it breaks my heart to think that it may have contributed to his illness and death later on but then I think he was lent to us from Heaven for a while and then taken back. Thanks so much for your sweet reaction.

Elvis gave more than 1100 concert performances in his career & 1958-1960 he was in the military & from 1960 to mid-1969 he was making movies so you have to discount those years altogether. During his movie years, Elvis not only did the movies but also recorded all of the movies' sound tracks as well as other music. Elvis was 'go go go' from the time he started singing professionally until his tragic early death in 1977. My favorite part of the whole segment is when Elvis looked out the window, saw fans waving to him & waved back as he was talking to the guys in the vehicle. That was Elvis, always showing appreciation to his fans.

It’s a great documentary about Elvis. I remember seeing it so many times in the movie theatre. You should watch it. Called This is Elvis.

That is a pretty good movie except for the parts where actors are portraying him. There isn't another man like Elvis anywhere. When the real Elvis is on the screen , that is the best! ❤❤❤

I came up with a "fantasy" concert, I could really imagine myself watching and listening to Elvis and these artists:
Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley and Elvis Presley (if I could hear Elvis sing some duets with Lisa Marie to).
Would you go and watch them perform if you could, or who would you like to see and hear if you could choose anyone???
