If you haven't been to the Slanted Window try it. Great little place and food. It's on the way back out to Cowee where your campground is.
We love Franklin. We live in North Ga and this is our go to Mtn day or overnight trip. The Tartan Museum is actually a store, you can browse without going in the museum. We love Outdoor 76. Franklin is a popular AT hiker stop. Our fave restaurants are Motor City Grill, Cafe Rel and Aunt Lois.

I lived in Franklin from 5th grade through the 8th grade then moved to Statesville, NC. I miss Franklin, nice and quiet, friendly people, at least when I was there.
Been to Rose Creek many times in the late 80s. Haven't been there in quite awhile😊 Nice to see it again, use to gem mine throughout Franklin area, thanks for sharing😊
My husband and I have visited Franklin several times it's a very nice little town with a lot of neat shops. Not that far from the Georgia state line our home state. Beautiful country up that way.

The antique mall is pet friendly. We were there about 4 weeks ago with our Boxer.
