Hey man! Do you think you can play Crashy's Own Apocalypse? There's another version coming soon and it's made by my friend Crashy (he's got a RUclips btw) and he also worked on this mod! I think it deserves more attention, it's underrated
This just makes me want to finish my pibby song for real. Song Name - Psychosis Song Length - 3:40 Bf vs Nagito Komeada (Darkened) Genre - Drumstep It will be inspired by one of my favorite songs Kaixo - Orcus Nox.
Imo, this mod is the perfect example of putting everything in one department and not putting much attention into anything else. In this case, the mod is one of the best ones on the Pibby marketplace visuals-wise, with a lot of the characters really closely resembling their appearances in their respective shows (unlike a lot of other Pibby mods which usually draw the characters in an FNF-like style). Though, in this mod's case, the problem is that a majority of the OST is just kinda mediocre. Here's a list of my thoughts on all of the songs. 1. You Will Be Mine - While this song isn't inherently bad, i've definetly heard it used before in previous mods. However, what I will give to them is the fact that Bugs Bunny's sprites are really nice looking. 2. Really Looney - In my opinion, this is the crappiest song in Bugs' week, mainly because of the amount of jacks. If I wanted to play Cookie Clicker, i'd play Cookie Clicker - Not Friday Night Funkin'. Not to mention the odd screen spinning effects just seem annoying more than challenging. 3. Oh Yeah! - My expectations for this song weren't that high, given how it shared a name with an older version of Rabbit Season (a song from CN Takeover), but I was positively surprised with this being arguably the best song in the rabbit trickster's week. Daffy singing instead of BF, in my opinion at least, is a nice breath of fresh air. If I had to knock it for anything, it would be that the speed-up part seems like a little much. 4. Oink and Go To Show - I'm lumping these two together because they both share a problem: THE MERCILESS NUMBER OF JACKS ON THE OPPONENT'S SIDE. Once again, I'll give it to them for making the visuals look really good - Doki in particular is pretty much spot-on to his original show appearance. I'm honestly not sure if they used a rig for him or what, but his sprites look basically one to one like his show. However, visuals aside, yeah - Both songs are pretty much just glitchiness and the screen shake is annoying. 5. Oh Great - One of the best songs in the mod in my opinion, though that's not saying much - They did use Barney, who I haven't seen get much attention in the FNF community, so that's a plus. However, yeah - The random part with Dave and Bambi-type spam really should be taken out, since it just feels like an unnecessary difficulty spike. 6. To The Rescue - So I looked it up, and turns out that this character isn't Tails - It's the self-insert of one of the directors for the mod. A bit of an odd widespread, but I guess it's okay? Once again, like I said: Visuals are overprioritized, leaving the song just sort of mid. Also, those Pibby vocals aren't that bad, but at the same time, Crashy's Pibby chromatic is just way better. 7. Hero, Upgraded and Need for Speed - Once again, i'm lumping all of these songs into one, since I don't feel like typing out the same thing three times. While these songs aren't bad on their own (Need for Speed in particular is up there with Oh Yeah! and Oh Great as one of the best songs in the mod), they are just concept songs taken from other people. The Ben 10 songs in particular i've seen be used in a trillion other mods, including Corrupted Omniverse and Glitched Legends. If I had to give advice to the people behind the mod, I say do what Glitched Legends did with Robin and give Ben a third, original song, and market him as a Week 2, following Bugs. As for Need for Speed, I personally find it kind of odd how the background depicts the original 16-bit Green Hill Zone, while Sonic, Pibby, Tails and Boyfriend are all normal. I'd say either redraw the background or give unique sprites to the characters (The latter, i'd say, would be a nice thing to do to set this song apart from the others in the mod). 8. My Gang - Top Cat? Heck yeah, we getting more representation for obscure characters! Unfortunately, I'd say Top Cat's song is arguably one of the middest ones in the mod. The background is, as always, top-notch (pun intended), but Top Cat himself just looks kind of rough, especially compared to some of the other characters we've seen thus far. The song is... Okay I guess? I like the jazzy swing style, as it provides a nice divergency from the others, but the screen shakes and random note spinning is, like with Really Looney, more annoying than actually challenging. 9. Bedtime - I personally have no idea who the character in this song even is, but honestly, even if I recognized them, this song would STILL be sitting at the bottom of the list with Oink and Go To Show as one of the middest songs in the mod. Like, it's not bad, it's just... Really, really boring. I guess the title is fitting, because this song's just a real snoozefest. 10. Funny Gummy - Another odd widespread - In this came the Gummy Bear. I'll give it to them for dabbling in 3D modelling to make these sprites as faithful to the original as possible, but the song itself? It's... Ehhhh. It just doesn't have enough original content in it for me to really say it's good OR bad, since a good majority of the song is just leitmotifs of Gummy Bear's original discography (The songs being referenced are I'm A Gummy Bear and Nuki Nuki). In other words, another song with fantastic visuals, but meh music.
