Yes the main most important thing we need is to restore the game to its original fundamentals and its always been like that since 2016. It just took people almost 10 years to realize or say something. Its no wonder that never moves forward because we got these fortnite new gens pulling the strings suggesting dumb irrelevant stuff for the game every year. The game is completely botched and alienated now. Thesw mainstream ps4 era fortnite battle royale players are so rotted out and destroyed this franchise and the gaming industry.

Bo2 will be my all time favourite CoD game. I am, however, one of those who still liked and enjoyed titles like Ghosts and Advanced Warfare, even Bo4 although not as much as ones like Bo2 and MW3. The difference is, now there’s very little creative direction and the entire focus is making money by selling the same stuff every year while treating the game like it’s a free to play title with $20+ bundles. Even they know just by having the same names and the same exact overused characters will bring mass profit.
Activision has a legal money printing machine.
I'm sitting here wondering what FPS to play and its not even nostalgia at this point, this genre has turned into a cooperate shithole.
Honestly you just gotta have a rotation of different FPS games.

I hate this match making because how are we suppost to match up to another person skill level with all the cheating that is going on. I dont get that
Its a very simple story: Fortnite explodes with new microtransaction models. Everyone tries to copy them. Activision dips their dirty little fingers in there and releases warzone. Warzone releases and brings a giant wave of new adhd spoonfed children to the franchise. Warzone kills cod. THE END.
I stood out at 10:30pm in 11 degree & lightly snowing for the midnight release MW2. There were 500 people in line everyone was really excited.
Back then in was an event. Not just another release. No cringeworthy operator skins.
No pay to win bundles. You had to earn your way, in the game. And I was horrible lol but got better over time.

I was attempting to play multiplayer, but it has become unplayable. Every lobby is overrun with low-level accounts that are rage cheating, and no action seems to be taken. Yet, there's an expectation to spend more money on another game only to face the same issues. Cheating has not only vaporized COD, but every FPS game. It's disheartening to see a preference for purchasing cheats over improving skills. Even more frustrating is when these individuals boast, insinuating they are simply better players. This is a situation that Activision has permitted historically. It's a well-known issue that persists. So do you really want to buy Black Ops 6 and deal with the cheaters on there too?
Stay on MW3, when BO6 comes out most of the cheaters will go there
@@headphonesz6527 theater mode will eliminate all doubts about who cheats and who doesn't , I don't see cheating whitelisted streamers playing this much because they will be put on blast for all to really see. Black ops is different

Started with COD 2 in 2007. Did not really play COD for the past 4 years. BO3 was the last big title. MW 2019 was a lot of hope but did not exceed it's expectations. Nowadays it's just a shop connected to a game - COD lost it's spirit.

There's something to this. You pretty much describe me. After Ghost, I didn't pick the game up until BO4. Then came another break until MW3, which is a beautiful game. I'm hoping for an amazing BO6. 🤓👍🏾
People say it’s dead but it’s usually the top selling game every year. Truth is for as many faults the franchise has now at its core its still a solid shooter and has no real competition. Xdefiant had a chance but didn’t have a good core of gunplay.

I think Destiny also had a pretty big part in COD's lower numbers post 2014. It only picked back up when Blackout was released.
Battlefield 3 and 4 during that span as well. Vastly superior games to ghost and infinite/advanced warfare

No they dont, they need to redo the older versions. Like MW2, BO1, BO2. They would still make a killin' but with the better games. Which are previous releases that are now considered ancient. I dont play main-stream anymore. I only play the older ones. From console or PC either way works for me.
I started playing cod in 2003 the very first one... Gave up on the game after cod ghosts in 2013... Came back for mw 2019 played for 3 months or so gave up on that because of sbmm... Tried black ops 6 and I'm not playing it after the beta... I have just seen this franchise go down hill since ghosts.

Ghosts is better than the last 5 cods we've got I don't understand the hate. Game was ahead of its time if it came out now everyone would love it. The only bad thing was the large maps

black ops 1 and world at war will always be my favorite. that and og mw2 and cod 4. I thought black ops 2 was pretty good but had lots of annoying things and black ops 3 was pretty fun( plus all the old zombie maps being in it made it great) but I was mad about the future premise at the time as we already had games like halo and stuff. I always hated war zone as I never like Fortnite or games like that.

What made me start playing COD was the DMZ mode, then I started playing BR, Resurgence and Plunder. I don't like multiplayer, small maps, with players shooting from all sides, there's no strategy, there's no skill, it's no wonder these lobbies are full of console players.

Call of Duty (2003) the first OG, it was groundbreaking at the time, ... played everyone since, AW and IW in my opinion were the worst, more like HALO that COD 👎
Hey Nick. I’m with you hoping we see a new era for COD and maybe a reinvigorated experience in general. I’ve been invested in this franchise since Call Of Duty 2:Big Red 1, so I’ve been playing these games for a minute. Black Ops 2 was my favourite by far though. Just the best all around experience in that game. Not as sweaty, not as monetized, just get in a lobby and go.
The best thing about BO2 was that you could literally do whatever you wanted in MP and not get punished. Knifing? Sure! Sniping? Go for it! Trolling? Have fun! That's what I loved about that game.
Cod 4 will always be in my heart...the heyday. But mw19 was great and close 2nd
Call of Duty went against the if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. There was nothing wrong with the old school CODs. We don’t need SBMM I think I started COD on the first MW or MW2 and was getting my ass whooped until I got good at the game and understood it. Pay to win messed up the game an the trying to match or copy Fortnite
i could never wait to play cod back then as i would skip school almost every day just to play cod but now i do not even touch cod anymore as its completley ruined/ also dead. covid 19? plus what your talking about for new players getting curb stomped all the time to me means they need to improve in the game instead of having a company hold their hands that is how i grew up on games i never used aim assist at all i played with zero aim assist and was just better than quite a few folks in these games becasue i could still land most to all my hits

I dont know how bad sbmm really is. Im above average i think and when i play casually there really is no problem i feel like. And it really is better for activision i dont think its going anywhere anytime soon.

My favourite cod game today is Cod mobile it has every good content from past COD games maps guns operators,camos,the classes and operators and fans favourite modes cheaters are so rare , SBMM isnt that annoying compared to recent cod games like MW2 and MW3 there i say it might be the best Call of duty ever added and given and even a PC version is on the way activision is Breaking records with this game the ceo of activison couldnt believe how cod mobile generated alot of money devs listens to the community Meta is unbalenced sadly but it definetly will get better through upcoming seasons but cod mobile definetly is a real cod game you dont need p2win weapons to be good you just need skill thats why i think it deserves more recognition :) and plus its the best mobile game right now on both playstore and appstore it has controller support too!

Ghosts wasn't that bad. I had a great time with that game. Still had my clan from the MW2, MW3, BO2 era. I absolutely loved BO3. But after that, I've bought them all, but not really enjoying the later CoDs.
I agree, Ghosts was good to an extent. As the COD that released right after BO2 though, it was awful. I'd say if it released before BO2, instead of MW3, it would've been amazing!
Infinite warfare was better imo. Hit detection was the best.

CoD goes up and down in waves, once may be good, once may be shit. I believe BO6 has the potential to be good, it has the potential to break the wave of shit that MW2 started, at least judging from what we saw in the beta.

The "SBMM and EBMM is too much nowadays" and "We need to get back to the Golden Days of CoD" arguments people make are absolutely ridiculous.
Sbmm has always in the game and it's only going to get more fine tuned as the franchise continues, because technology advancement and innovation are necessary things.
The reason why sbmm wasn't as big of a issue then, as it is now, is because we had Seasonal Map Packs (this is also why we dont get quality maps anymore. Because the maps arent the content they're trying to sell us on anymore) which split the playerbase into numerous subgroups, and not everyone bought the top tier group which had all 4 seasons. So the playerbase was split based on if you owned DLC or not, and the various combinations of which ones you owned. So any atempt to fine tune SBMM would be sacrificed in order to have matches not take upwards of 5 min to balance a lobby.
Now, everyone is lumped into only one playerbase pool (because the dlc is free to everyone) so the sbmm matchmaking can be more fine tuned, and work like it's intended to.
I've played them all 31 years old and I disagree with many cod players that the older ones are better mw2019 was absolutely the best with the hardest cammo grind people like the older stuff because it was nostalgic It reminds us of a simpler time but the truth is they aren't better.
Exactly Sbmm is a good thing for any multiplayer game can we all stop trying to get rid of it because you people are the issues your obviously bad and just want easy 50 kill streaks each match that’s no fun for everyone else just because you want it gone does not mean we all do
