I have a few pops but not big into picking them up. But your pickup and instant flip was a perfect scenario as a reseller. You made money and are happy and your friend will make money and is happy. Plus you keep the ones you want and you also have the rare one to trade or sell. Win Win

Super stoked to finally get around to checking out Part 2 (probably best way to phrase it) of this sale. I don't collect a huge amount of Funkos like some people, but do have a decent amount of them. Some decent ones you kept for sure, never knew they had Gargoyles ones. That is absolutley insane on the Value of that one Funko, just WOW. No need to apologize for keeping those funkos, when I see one I want I got to have it - most recently it was the 3 Slipknot ones, Winged Venom, Dinopool & Tokka/Rahzar (from TMNT 2). Awwww, the backlog, always the gamer problem lol. I truly feel you on that one. I feel if it worth the money from a resale perspective, and you can potentialy keep some for personal collection, go for it. I just pick up what ones I like, and don't deal with the resell side of things. Great video, congrats on the pick ups, have to admit those Sailor Moon ones look really nice - watched that show so much growing up. #Roadto3k

I love watching you both. I'm really into collecting/hunting but haven't had a chance to do it as much as I wanted with the past few years/pandemic. I would always travel for work and visit all the retro game shops and frequent Japan once or twice a month. Really miss it so it was nice to experience all your vids recently. I can relate I stop collecting funko pops but I came across Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion & Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop couldn’t resist from buying them.

Dang, we have hundreds of funkos to sell at our garage sale. Looks like they still move. We also have about 15 huge boxes of star trek items to sell as well. I don't think they will move as well.
I sold my Greedo Blue box on ebay just before Christmas and I was pretty nervous. It went very well. I got out of Pops for rooms sack and I am creating a Pod Cast. I would Sell on ebay again, but just be careful, what the bidders feedback etc.

@@JRPGLife Welcome. A couple other things to consider. Record boxing and set up a private video on RUclips, also use a tape that is not easy to open and reseal, like ebay or USPS labeled tape.
Pops are fun. There is a whole MTG line that Dan might find interesting.
We actually have an Ajani and a Nissa, but that's about it lol
I'm not into pops really either. Space and another rabbit hole 🕳 to not jump into 🤣. I have a few horror ones that were gifts but my favorite was given to me by a Co worker and its a giant Kool aid man. In regards to what I think you should do with that very expensive pop, sit on it, find the right collector in person and sell it. Too many things can go wrong with an online sale of most action figures. Just a headache I'd personally avoid. 🔥🤟
Cool pops, I myself collect the Batman pops but only original Batman characters. I don’t collect like the solid colored pop or art pop variants of a character. Great video 👍

I like pops and all but they're just basically action figures. They remain unused in the box or they lose value. Rather collect more media, games, toys for my daughter and I to enjoy. The ones we have were gifts so they get displayed with the other stuff. Definitely gonna look out for profitable ones in the future though that's crazy

I would sell the pop online. Take great pics of all sides. When it sells package we'll and insure it. I've had great experience selling more expensive items online. I don't collect pops because I got 2 big collection going with anime and video games. Also lot of pops outside of video game and anime characters look the same
I think I'd still sell mine for the individual value their worth when I have my yard sale soon. I have a lot of anime & a few extra chases so thats why lol

I just started recently following and watch your videos on daily basis here from West China. It is fun to see how collectors and "flippers" do. I have a good collection as well, but oh boy, costly. I am not good in reselling so I skip that part in my life.

I had a boba fett pop worth 4,000. I was scared to sell it online so I went to a pop store and sold it for 2,200
I have the sailor moon that you are missing. If you are still missing it that is.
I would sell it but it now $1400 on eBay and make sure it sells to a buyer with good reviews
I've sold a very expensive baseball card on ebay be very careful who you sell to has people can be horrible . I recommend trying groups or something first . I never sell pops has there annoying to ship . You did right selling local . If you do sell it on ebay etc take pics so you know its condition before sending out

what do you do with funko pops. Do you play with them or put them on display or not even open the box and waiting to resell them.
We have a few that we keep on display, but this lot was immediately traded in for cash at a local store, and we traded the expensive one for a valuable video game. This all happened a few years back, but we made some videos on it 😀
I know I'm late, but some pops aren't worth anything, so basically the owner sold you pops that can't be sold.
My friend owns the shop we traded them to and thankfully all of them have sold long ago 😀

How do you find out what the value and the price is to sell your pops?
We used a combination of eBay sold listings and an app called HobbyDB 😀
@@JRPGLife thank you will take a look at the app! i have seen some pawn shops do the ebay thing but wasnt entirely sure i was doing it right and wasnt sure if it would be the same for funko pops.

Too many scammers on ebay and they side with the buyers more often than not. I’d try to sell or trade locally if you can
Wait how exactly do they scam? I was recently looking forward to get on eBay but now im not sure about it
It's definitely the minority, but it does happen. Most scams happen when a buyer buys something and issues a return for something else. It's happened to us a few times.

i thought you said $600. i could of sworn after because you said $400 for the large lot. then the higher priced ones you said $160. and you ended up saying so what. $600 for everything. 5:59 6:05 6:07
