I am from Hartlepool,, which is a small fishing town in England, which is the town where Reg Smythe, the creator of Andy Capp, is from and we have a statue of Andy in Regs honour. So happy to see that you picked it up and bought it and it was not thrown away or anything.
All those racing tees!!! I woulda scooped them all up to wear I love shirts like that
Lol a wild snatcher swooped in at that poster box. Happened to me, too. I was just looking at an area rug and unrolling it, and a lady came up and snatched it while I stood back to see it in full and bought it. Some folks need their moms with them at all times to remind them of manners.
Great intuition! Good buys. Love the interaction with the sellers. Salt of the Earth.
So strange when people put things out at garage sales and then don't want to sell them lol
15:38 the old antique Avon bottles I’ve always found so cool. I have a few from my hometowns lawn sales and they still have the perfume in.
You have great manners and always put things back nicely. Love your choices/ buys.
Thanks so much!
*Bunch of CDs sitting on a garage sale table*
"You wanna sell all the CDs over there?"
"Nah"
I never come across yard/garage sales with good sports cards like the one you found. I would have totally scooped up that Panini Select Peyton Manning zebra die cut card for $200. He is right, those zebra die cuts are super rare and a tough grade. Also agree with what others have said…I never understand why people put out stuff to sell and then don’t want to sell it when offered lol. Cool videos though!!
I can literally get that card for $80 but will sell to you for $200
You're such a cool man. So polite and we love watching your videos. Have a blessed day.
Dude those dead CDs were such a freakin deal. All those artists are right up my ally. I would have bought them all for personal collection haha!
Recently came across your channel and wow these videos are amazing to watch right before bed! Somehow relaxing seeing you walk around and what others are selling. I live in Australia and Yard Sales (we call them "Garage Sales" even if they're not in the garage) do not look like this, or have really unique items. Never have I been to one that has prices on the items, people usually just negotiate on the spot, having the prices set out is so much nicer! Is it usual for many neighbours to be setup on the same day all having yard sales? This would be awesome if It happened where I live, but sadly its not really the same experience.
Thanks so much! That’s really interesting. A lot of times a whole neighborhood will have a community sale so many neighbors participate.
@@FroggyFlips You're most welcome! Really enjoying the content. That's so awesome, I wish more people did that here. Have an amazing day Froggy :)
@@blaize4482 thank you, you too!
They are called garage sales over here in the US too..
Wow! Great deal! There's nothing like the feeling of scoring a great item for a great price. It's kept us in the business for years!
I'm jealous you got that box of toys that had vintage TMNT figures in it for only 5 bucks. Score!
Froggy Flips found you station whilst getting better from an illness, i don't know what it is but your stations is just addictive congratulations.... Keep up the great work.
Got to keep an eye out for posters. I picked up an Apple Think Different poster for $2 and sold it for $199.
That’s incredible! An old Apple poster or shirt or hat is definitely a bucket list item for me!
you should have picked up those nascar hats and shirts those are selling well here in the philippines 🇵🇭 new subscriber here, I do love watching your RUclips channel, we both love vintage things 🤝♥️
Nascar is making a big comeback. Especially old nascar memorabilia. Will really take off when the epa makes all gas engine racing illegal
That's interesting, I like learning random things think that.
Yes here in Texas people are going nuts over it
I applaud you guys that do the garage sales, It looks like I'm missing out on some decent money. But some of these people are to cringey for me 🤣🤣🤣
Watching your videos makes me want to get out and go to yard sales again. 👍
I love polite kind people
I been to half a million yard sales and never found crap but this dude finds thousand dollar scores every other video.
You should add a bit of narrative as you go through the items to add interest.
First weekend trying my hand at the garage sale game. Stumbled upon a older woman with a variety of 70’s and 80’s rock albums which I don’t think ever saw a record player. Took all 40 records at 1.50 a piece which included the double album The Clash London Calling that sells between $50-100 on eBay. You just never know. Now I’m not only hooked on garage sales but also your videos.
Tools. Woodworking tools if your lucky catch the sale the last day i got a craftsman lathe and 400 bf of walnut for 22.50 once on the last day of the sale.
The guy was a skilled woodworker
That wasn't the only tools I got.
I went bat shit nuts at that sale.
I've been to a bunch of them.
I buy this stuff to use, not to sell to somone else. You can score some toys at garage sales and estate sales.
Most of what I've bought has saved me a lot of money if id gone out and bought it new.
Records, ive got my own collection.
How does she have CDs in her yard sale that she doesn't want to sell?? LMAO!
😂😂😂
That’s like the dude trying to get top price for slabbed and graded cards at his yard sale!😆
@@FroggyFlips "I had already moved on with my life" LOL 😂
Changed her mind maybe?
She probably would have taken the deal if he said he was gonna give her the asking price… I’m thinking she assumed he was gonna low ball her
I always come back to the old vids, just Frogman picking everything :)
Lol honestly what you do looks really fun.
Meanwhile here I am in Alaska in the middle of nowhere.
I can't even remember the last time I've even SEEN a garage sale.
watching this is like watching a movie, the way yous speak to each other i find so interesting its so different to where im from
Nice finds! You really could’ve killed it and grabbed all the racing tees! Once I saw Jurassic park I knew that was worth a nice penny
Respect to froggy, saw a video where he felt he under paid and went back and gave way more money!
Insane CD finds. Wow I’m jealous
I'm blown away that Andy Capp Traveled to America
Easily become one my fave resellers to watch (especially at garage sales!) You buy interesting items - great content! 👏
Thank you so much!
Great find on the Tyco Slyvester/Tweety. I love it when we find those rare items but still in box.
To be honest I rather find a good stuff for yu gi oh cards, since I’m a big fans of it. I been collecting some cards that’s is really valuable.
i used to have 3 full exodias, as well as *ALL* the other god cards like Obelisk and Slypher.. My dad sold em at a yard sale for 50$ along with the rest of my collection. today i coulda been rich off of em. alot of em were holographic, and in seals😂😪 i miss spending time digging thru driveways in the morning to find treasures 😂
I played competitive and would trade/sell from a kid to an adult. I stopped playing about 5 years ago but collecting again would be fun. Not too many ppl can say they paid bills and made a living off a card game
By any chance do you guys ever got a ghost rare card before?
@@lightgod2255 oh yes lots of them. My ex wife use to love them so she had a whole mini binder just filled. The 1st Ed ghost stardust dragon was her favorite then ghost blue eyes
@@Perfectt852 Awesome! By the way you still have it, right? If that’s the case. Can I buy it from you, if not that’s fine. I just want to know if you are planning to kept it or sell it. Just asking.
As someone from the UK I find it fascinating how many yard sales happen over in the US. You don't really get yard sales in the UK. We get car boot sales where lots of people take their wares to a field or open space to sell. You would love it.
And what a score on those posters. I'll have to start looking at posters when I go yard sales!
I’m a new subscriber, I just enjoy watching the garage sales and green grass while we sit buried in snow and minus 15 c temperatures.
OMG1 The General Patton book I have been looking for forever!
Yes, I noticed that book too. I own it, but bought it new at the Patton Museum at Fort Knox. I don't recall what I paid, but it was full value.
I'm addicted to your videos, i really like vintage stuffs as well as toys. you know even if you're a man when it comes to toys you'll literally come back as a boy i want to see more of your videos from 🇵🇭 Godbless!
That lady had really good taste in music! I wonder which ones were on the table that she took back for her car. Ya dun good, man!
People are so nice and polite at yard sales in the US it’s really relaxed 😍
If someone offered to buy my entire cd collection, I’d do it! That’s guaranteed money, and the entire point of a yard sale is to sell all the stuff you set out. People are weird
Great Video!!!!! I've been picking up a lot of media. A few weeks ago, I bought a bunch of vintage LPs for 1.00 a piece. The same yard sale had the complete Louis L' Amour Leather set. I won a few auctions of post cards. Lots of other CDs and things. The past weekend I bought over 50 audio books on CDs. They were 2.00 each. I have a ton of Zane Grey. I am getting them online as fast as I can LOL. I love your channel. You're a sweet spirit. Thank you.
The grateful dead cds was an amazing find for me. I have some of the records and same with the cds
This was a fun day! Thanks for taking me with you. ❤️💞💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The guy who horned in on that Box of stuff with the posters while you were looking in it is a total jerk
Sooo rude!
When I have a yard sale the highest I sell item for is $1 to $50 dollar.
...after watching videos and hearing names of places it makes me happy that ur local! I can almost never find much good stuff at sales maybe your the reason why lol 😂😂
If those cards ( Peyton Manning) were worth that amount they would not be out in the open unattended
This, plus you should know your not going to get its "value" in a garage sale.
@@JediMasterT agree, why even put them out at a garage sale? If he’s a collector he should know eBay is where it’s at for card sales.
You dont know what youre talking about.
Graded cards.
Especially of that caliber.
$1800 for recently sold on ebay and that was a psa 8.
BGS 9.5 youre looking at $3,000
@@krotchlickmeugh627 dude a BGS 9.5 Peyton manning is only worth $450 right now.
@@ronjeremy2850 which payton manning bud? Theres alot.
The old people in these videos always seem so nice.
That guy with the posters just had get to the posters at the same time as you. That's how it looked to me
👍
I rewatched the video and he did not 🤣
I wish my neighbours were this friendly.
This is starting off right down my cassette tape alley.
Unfortunatley only found the one :(
Great video. I've been watching ALL of your videos and really enjoy how friendly and nice you treat others. That goes a long way in these times. Much respect and admiration sir.
Man, was he salty. Oh well, it is all about Karma
Man, he was tossing that box like he owned it 😂🤙
Damn, you pulled out a bunch of Grateful Dead cds. Nice find! What I want to know is why someone would have stuff for sell at a yard sale and not want to sell it. Weird.
That's absolutely bonkers! Those posterssssss. Great pickups, Froggy!
Hey thanks!!
Cool find on the Deep Purple tape. "Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple is one of my favorite songs of all-time.
Awwww. I loved the woman with the degenerative disease. If I was in OH, I’d snatch her up to be my friend!
The grateful dead stuff is amazing!
She had great taste in music.
