Dude, when you returned to give the kid extra it really shows a lot of how you view life and it’s purpose and how much you love what you do. I flip occasionally as well, you’re awesome man. 🙌🏼

$20 into $1100, that's insane. I'd be furious at myself if I sold something that valuable for so little! Great find man.
He'll usually give them a decent amount if he knows it's valuable but he self-admittedly had no clue about the Disney piece.
The kids had a cell phone in the video, definitely a lesson in doing some research. A quick google would have let them know about the value.

We sold my Barbie stuff years ago at a rummage sale. A woman bought everything and I was happy with the cash. I had no idea the stuff was worth hundreds more. That was pre-internet, btw.

That's why I like watching this brothas videos. He dont take advantage of the situation. If he sees they are selling way to cheap he be honest with you and give you some extra money. Not like some of this other people doing the same thing...they will just not care and just try too low ball you and if they don't get what they won't. They will just leave and make them feel wierd where the seller will feel bad and just give them what they were asking for. If you know you know who I'm talking about. They do the same trick to every seller and see if they get what they want in there video. It Just a shame.....but either ways always like this brothas video

That is how business should be. The way you treat others always comes out. With these videos being here when people visit the shop they know that if something is a touch more than they want to spend that works out because at some point the extra will get shared with someone else. Give a little and take a little goes a long long way in small business.
I did that once. They said I want 5 bucks for these. I said let me at least give you 50...they said nevermind if these are worth money ill pass them down. So now fuck that shit
Totally agree with this. So many resellers run away laughing to the camera when they find a steal. The Froggy like/dislike ratio says it all, he does what can definitely be a tricky job with the utmost humanity and kindness.
@@baxoutthebox5682 Everyone and their mother has internet and smartphone nowadays. Checking eBay prices takes a few seconds. Idc if someone has way too low prices - unless it's a kid. But everyone who is adult knows better and was just too lazy to look up prices.

Man, they don't have yards sales like that where I'm at, the fact that the one had so many unopened toys and there was noone else there is crazy.

To be fair there are not many kids who get toys like that from their parents and just throw them in the closet never to be opened. That kid was a rare as the garage sale.

HOLY MOLY what an incredible find Anthony! I ALWAYS pick up Disney snowglobes and statues if they're priced well, they never fail me. I bought a Mulan recently for $5 that just sold for $100...but that thing there is a beauty. Congrats on the find!

You know anything Disney will sell well. I’m a Disney snowglobe collector and it’s very rare to find good deals on snowglobes especially the limited edition haha
I went to Disneyland for work. I bought a snow globe for a coworker and didn’t even think about it when I had it in my carryon luggage. Got through airport check point. My coworker who went also bought a snowglobe, a bigger one and more expensive. She had it in her carryon and got stopped. She had to leave it at the airport such a shame. Whoever got dibs on that got free money. At least she got mine as a present.
I recently sold my entire silver age comic book collection from my misspent youth, got thousands for it but, the only books they really weren't interested in were Disney comics from the late 60's/early 70's, had around 30 of them. I was kind of shocked because I'd thought Disney stuff always had value.

That Jim Shore castle is an amazing find! My family and I collect a lot of those figurines that we’ve bought from the parks and they’ve costed us anywhere from a hundred to a few hundred dollars. You got really lucky especially with it being signed by Jim Shore if it’s authentic!

when i saw the disney villians castle i immediately recognized it as a disney traditions. i kinda collect those myself and those castles are really expensive. Watching someone find it for such a low price feels great but also a lot of jealousy at the same time XD. Great find!

Most times the box is actually worth more then what was inside it, depending on the age of the item.
on rare items like this it probably near impossible...im sure one has came up but it could just be as expensive as the actual product.

My family lives in Germany.(Aachen and Duesseldorf).not sure people would know what a yard sale even is there, people are not usually neighbor friendly as in USA and second, I would bet some crazy stuff would pop-up, if Germans ever did get into the "garage sale" mode

I was wondering when you picked up that Villian Castle, if it was Jim Shore! It just had that look to it. I have sold A LOT of Jim Shore, and my jaw dropped when you said the price. I think the highest I sold was like $300 or $350. So awesome, and I'm so happy for you!

@@mandymoore5774 I've bought the exact same castle for 79 € (which is about 89 $) back in the days in an official store. I didn't know abouts todays pricing!
Literally anything similar that's Disney related is a must buy. People horde and resell the special popcorn buckets!!!!!! If it's Disney and only a few bucks, the odds of reselling later are very good.

When I have items that are that valuable, I take it to FedEx and have them wrap and ship it. They recently broke something they wrapped and I was 100% reimbursed inside of two weeks. Sometimes it's worth paying a little to have that piece of mind and protection.
That's actually a really helpful tip for veteran seller's. After you've been packing your own orders for so long, sometimes you forget packing services are insured. Thanks
When I go to a rummage sale and see how young child sitting there with a bunch of junk and nobody's buying anything, I will always make sure to buy something and enjoy the big smile and thank you I get when they sell one of their items. It always warms my heart
beware of the gingerbeard hustling off with all you old toys giggling :-) In my head I'm bouncing back and forth Hustlin' Hooks would have at least asked for a better price and DANG if the kids weren't excited enough with the entrepreneurial spirit selling all that stuff, you hit 'em up with the tip.
