Today I was watching this episode at the grocery store while my wife shopped. As soon as I got on the highway headed home we literally passed a highspeed motorcycle chase. Dude had about 8 cops hot on his tail!
I’ve been rewatching these episodes years later and I miss this series but there’s really no way it’d work in our current times. Police in the US should be required to watch all of these so they remember their roots. Now they’re just cowards behind guns who more often than not are on a power trip
Every single time I see someone hit the spikes on OP:Live, I go, "NAILED HIM!" I love the enthusiasm from that officer, knowing he got him to a T. I just love it, "NAILED HIM!"
"But unable to even get their hogs started, they now seem more like the Three Stooges than the Hell's Angels." That narration is still just as funny today is it was all those years ago.
That final chase was near my hometown. That chase started in Easley, SC, on US 123, then onto SC 153 to Powdersville in Anderson County to I-85, then to Greenville County, ending around Mauldin Road in around the city of Mauldin, suburb of Greenville.
I'm confused though. how could've the thief totaled his stolen Porsche. the engine is at the rear rear behind the rear axle and he crashed into the minivan at the red light at what looked to be the front right part of the car and the rear left of the van.
@@carwhiz90 "Totaled" just means the damage to the car as a whole is so severe that it would cost more to repair the car and get it back in full working order than it would cost to just buy a new one. Even if the engine is intact, a car can still be classified as "totaled". Being "Totaled" doesn't necessarily mean that a car is beyond repair, just that the cost of repairing it compared to buying a new car would be a net loss overall.
A chase that began in a small town. Small town cops mobilize, then big city police mobilize, then the County Sheriffs, and then the State Troopers. It's like a Military Battalion mobilizing on a counter offence.
I can see that we have boring lives in my European country. We don't have car chases with 3,5,7,9 squad cars, we don't have guns. We live long and boring lives ....
Imagine what the Katy crook was thinking, "okay just one cop shouldn't be hard to lose him" *enters another county* "okay two cops not a problem", *enters houston* omg so many cops, I am still determined to get away"* state troopers join on* "well f*ck i am not going down without a fight" then gets caught and was probably like "all this for one guy? Wow" lol
One of the multitude of assinine decisions of our ignorant, wisdom less judicial system is that you can't legally force these crazy, out of control, screwballs, to actually TAKE THEIR MEDS! Apparently, the wisdom less judiciary has decided that somehow this violates their rights! So, THE LUNATICS ARE IN THE GRASS!!! And the rest of us get to PAY THE PRICE!!! Db

What city are in?
I’m surprised the dude in the Porsche managed to last that long. Them early 911s aren’t easy to drive
Lol, I love how the cop just keeps having the super drunk guy stand up to do things.
Unbelievable that this guy was driving.
1. That dude in the prche knew how to drive lmao 😂😂😂😂

Happy Valentines day 2024🎉to you and all fellow fans ❤😊❤

i think that if the cops used an ice-cream truck for pursuits, people would stop at once.
Same with a Taco Truck 😋
Same with a free money truck
I don't think there's an episode that doesn't have at least one from Texas
Same as Georgia
Yeah when did they all migrate from TX to Florida?
Hi from Sweden this is my best I love this, thanks
Pursuits in Cal. Can go on for hours and many miles!
Some of those guys are insane in the membrane.
Insane in the brain! 🎶

That's Katy, Texas for ya
And if criminals didn't do things like this, the cops wouldn't have to.
Kinda like in GTA when you get one star and work on up to six star wanted level.
It's like scrambling aircraft during an attack, or like Bees swarming u if u get to close to the hive 😂
@@kakashisensei9258 a feeling I know all too well 😅
I miss these shows.
"Daring detour". "Pilfered Porsche". Who writes this stuff? The alliteration is over the top.
I know, right? Alliteration is my jam!
😂😂😂 it's great
Pretty sure Bunnell wrote his own narrations!
Nostalgic

Any law enforcement officers can never let their guard down. If they do its a life or death situation
If you are hostage in a car, put the gear in reverse. The transmission will pretty much drop.
13:43 lmao

.these are very old videos
👍👍👍
Dangerous how do the cops Kown how to pit move safe

I would be spooked to end if I had the entire Law Enforcement agency in the lone star state chasing me down 😆
